This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.

There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.

Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable

An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.

First of all, this show has me in stitches. I used to watch it years ago when it was given far too little airtime on one of the UK channels but now it's out on DVD I've bought the lot.The 5 kids; Mark, Kevin, Dave, Bruce and Scott are not only great comedians but excellent actors, making every scene worth watching. They do dress up for the scenes and are very convincing as women at times - surely proof of their acting skills - and they do have regularly recurring characters, such as headcrusher, Darill, Buddy Cole, cops, etc.All in all, I'd say if you haven't watched it - try it. And when you try it, give it a chance. With any new show, you need to watch at least a few episodes to know the actors and the characters well and I'm sure you'll end up loving it as much as me!

I love the Kids. I used to stay up late in 6th and 7th grade at my friend's house to watch them and still watch whenever I can. I have to say though, sometimes I just do not understand what they are doing. Particularly the secretary skits and the Gavin skits. But that's a small price topay for some of the best sketch comedy I have ever seen.I made my Dad watch it once, that was a mistake. He just sort of stared with his mouth open and I think he has thought I might be gay ever since."People think I have got the power cause I've got the monkeys. Nope. I've got the power because I'll let the monkeys loose."

The kids in the hall shall forever be part of Canadian pop culture. The show introduces a group of comedians from Canada, who are extremely funny and charming. They pushed the limits with sexuality and comedy, along with pushing the sensors. If you have not seen this show, try and catch it because it's simply Canadian comedy at it's best! On their Tour Of Duty, I was lucky enough to see them when they came here to London, and having them to thank for getting me into writing and acting, it was a great honor to meet them. I stood for hours to meet them, and I was so excited, I barely said anything. I did however shake Mark's hand when he was impressed by my drawing of him. He liked it so much he didn't want to sign it cause he was afraid to wreak it. Now it hangs on my wall, and although I believe it is one of the worst pictures I've ever drawn, it's one of my favorites! These guys are charming and funny and I love them soooo much! Gives me a reason to be proud of Canada!

I liked this one a lot more than Saturday Night Live even though some of the skits were downright bizarre. The cast virtually remained the same through its entire run I believe. There were a few others in the skits over the years, but mainly they were just background. The skits though were just one of a kind as most of the time you did not know what to expect or where the laughs were going to come from. Though my favorite skit is a combo of two recurring character's as little Bobby has to face of against Satan in a guitar duel. I always get a good laugh at this particular skit. Never really cared for the head crushing guy though.
