n my opinion it was a great movie with some interesting elements, even though having some plot holes and the ending probably was just too messy and crammed together, but still fun to watch and not your casual movie that is similar to all other ones.
... View MoreIt’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

... View MoreThis programme is one of the worst I have ever seen. When I first watched it, I thought it was quite funny, but now it's about three or four years and I have matured and know that it is a terrible programme. It's not at all funny: D.L. Hughley merely makes unoriginal remarks about the differences between black and white people, which is supposed to be funny. The "laughter from the audience" is just a soundtrack to make the people watch it understand when something is supposed to be funny or not - do not be fooled by this.Basic Story Line: Darryl dislikes his son Michael, praises his daughter Sydney, is friends with a white guy next door, makes racial jokes and has a pretty wife.
... View MoreI think it's a great show! Really funny, I just keep laughing. I don't know why it's not very popular; I like the jokes...The only people in the show who aren't funny are the friends of the Hughleys (Dave & Sara, I think their names are. Those people are so uninteresting that I don't even know their names!). Milsap is pretty good, but Darryl is the funniest. I think it's a nice change from the usual 'American Family' sitcom (I guess because it's probably the only sitcom other than "My Wife & Kids" and "Bernie Mac" that is about an African-American family). I think it's hilarious, and enjoy seeing the reruns (I never even heard of the show while it was actually running).
... View MoreThere's not much difference between "The Hughleys" and most other sitcoms that have a family at its center. In fact, this shows borrows heavily from the plot of "The Jefferson" in that Darryl's character is a guy from the inner city who built up a successful company for himself, and his wife Yvonne, who knows how to keep her husband in check when needed. They even have white neighbors, with whom Darryl can verbally spar with. D.L. Hughley is extremely funny when he's doing standup comedy as proven when he was the host of BET's "Comic View" and most recently, in "The Original Kings of Comedy". This show was moved from ABC to UPN, allegedly because Hughley wanted more creative control, but the situation comedy format doesn't allow him to cut loose like he can onstage.
... View MoreThis show is soo funny. D.L. Hughley is great, and so is the rest of the cast. I think this show has just what it takes to be a very popular show, and I think it will become a very popular show in the near future.
