Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.
... View MoreIt’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
... View MoreStory: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.

... View MoreIt is refreshing to find a show where two cops make a terrible situation worse just by showing up! It was too bad it was canceled.. An odd couple of cops that make even a speeding ticket end in gunfire. Colin Hanks is great as the Felix character and Bradley is great as the Madison with only one great accomplishment that he rides as his only reason for being employed... This show is worth your Netflix queue and a binge watch. Not going to give away anything, cause there really isn't anything of substance to the show.. just fun. It has a little bit of Police Squad vibe to it! This is not a police drama, so when you watch it be prepared to see cops making the worse situation worser. :)
... View MoreStill find myself watching occasionally three plus years later. Many people probably say "what if", but as time goes on and as much as I hate to admit, a single season seems fitting. It started out strong but fizzled out by the end, taking on a bit of a bad movie sequel vibe, much like a Lethal Weapon 4. A must see regardless, don't take it too seriously, sit back, and have a good time. Some episodes are a little slow, but there are some gems, episodes 2-4 are excellent, number three is epic, I'll never look at Bradley Whitford the same after that one. I still chuckle at some of Whitford's character's vocabulary, foreign static = forensic, commando = commandeer
... View MoreI started watching this as something to do while folding clothes. Now I am really bummed there are not more episodes. This show was really fun to watch. Bradley Whitford is awesome. Funny. Perfect combination of the goofy smart Detective and the Detective straight out of the 70's in Whitford. Also, it does not hurt that Jenny Wade is on the show as well. Great show. Wonder if there is a chance that this one could come back. I would watch no doubt. The show could draw some comparison to the Ferrell and Wahlburg movie "The Other Guys" but the similarities are small. I would suggest giving it at least three episodes and you should be hooked by the end of the third.
... View MoreI admit I was a little dubious while watching the pilot. But the team that put this one together deserved a little wiggle room. By the third episode I totally got it, and have heartily recommended it to my friends. Bradley Whitford nails the heck out of it, and Colin Hanks plays his part well. If you get a little uncomfortable watching them, then you are on the right track. They are uncomfortable together, they are supposed to be. But the relationships evolves, as all do. That's where the quality of the actors works its best. Even for the over-the-top nature of the show, there is an underlying reality that you can relate to. And its just damn entertaining!
