Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.

One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.

Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.

Like this show. I tend to like Brit plots and characters and this show is no exception. Gorgeous scenery, very good acting. Only issue is a very distracting wound on J Perez' forehead that keeps moving around. Within the same scene even. Up, down, left, right, above this wrinkle, across, etc., etc., etc. First series show 2. Good god! Like someone was always drunk when making up the actor - or completely inexperienced.

One of the most well-written shows I've watched. Excellent acting and fantastic plots.

This a very well made drama, beautiful scenery and good story lines. What raises it above the ordinary is Henshall, who is very good indeed. He carries the programme, although the guest stars are of a good quality. This show will be too slow for some people and I have too say that the regular cast apart from Julie Graham are a little below the required quality needed to make this a classic, having said that the whole programme is worth watching for the excellent Henshall.

Found the series while browsing on Netflix. After seeing all 4 seasons, doubtful there will be a 5th. That would be disappointing. Loved the scenery. But, with Tosh leaving (if she does)it would not be the same and hard to replace her. That said, would love to see it continue. Perez finally having a companion again (Ashan?) After awhile, I got used to the Scottish accent, mostly. Also, nice that they featured some big name actors, i.e. Brian Cox.
