Thanks for the memories!
... View MoreGood start, but then it gets ruined
... View MoreA different way of telling a story
... View MoreThe movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful
... View MoreI watched the first episode last year and only got to episode 2 before losing interest. I decided to give it another go recently and watched all episodes in one day. I'm so glad I did. At first I was turned off by the gore but then it all started to be funny and interesting. I'm crazy addicted. I can't stop laughing every episode. Drew plays an undead person perfectly. Love the 2 of them together. Lot's of chemistry. I'm not a fan of the person they chose to play the daughter but she's growing on me. This has became one of my favorite shows...and I was so close to writing it off. Never judge a show by its pilot episode.
... View MoreThis series gets better and better with every episode. There are scenes where I laugh so hard I cry. Each episode is well crafted with a blend of unexpected turns, witty dialogue, taboo acts, suspense, unbeatable humor, well developed relationships, and even heartwarming morals. Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant are hilarious and have *amazing* chemistry on screen. And ironically - beyond all the blood, gore, and silliness - this show really does a great job at highlighting what it means to honor and demonstrate true family values. Excellent idea and work to the director, producer, writers and actors. Cannot wait for Season 3.
... View MoreOMG, this is so good! I just finished watching season 2. It's hilariously morbid. The finale ending was just fabulous. Ok, the storyline is far fetched. So what? As if Star Trek is going to happen any day soon. The acting is great. And love conquers all. Can't wait for season 3.
... View MoreAs a New Yorker, don't care about race, gender, etc. Just don't walk too slowly, and leave space for others to get out of the subway if blocking the exit :)OK, within the first five minutes, 2 mixed race couples. Barf.Including a Black guy and Asian woman. I'm Asian, and apart the the odd looking Black/Asian fellow from 2 Live Crew of the 90s, there's not too many of that mix around. Reason? Asian ladies don't go for Black guys as a rule. Common, I don't know if this was strictly due to the writer, or some PC meeting making "suggestions".Onto the show. Fun and lighthearted dark comedy. A wife who turns into a zombie and needs to eat people. Formula stuff...put character type A into situation B.....zaniness ensues. Thank goodness there's no laugh track. But, even though the entire show, writing and characters are beyond obvious...been there/done that......it works.
