While it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.

what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.

I'd only came into this show in the mid-1990s when it was nearly ending. I later caught some random episodes as reruns. But it was my first time seeing Will Smith (before Independence Day and Men in Black) and it's one of my favorite James Avery (RIP) roles (who was the original Shredder from TMNT though I didn't know his name back then). But Smith and Avery had so much chemistry on the show, which was helped by Avery's TV wife and kids, especially Carlton, who would later host AFV. I'm not sure what happened to the others, but I hope they're doing well! It's funny, touching, sometimes emotional, sweet and good for those of you wanting a wholesome family sitcom. Let's see if we can find some reruns somewhere, okay?

I believe everyone born in the 90s or has seen Fresh Prince can rap along to that catchy song. What set Fresh Prince apart from it's peers is that as much as it was full of laughs,it that it took it characters seriously. At times it even got heartbreaking like the time Will reunited with his Father only to loose him.It also wasn't afraid to address the issues that the black community faces, and still do.Overall Fresh Prince is like your favorite song that you can't help but dance along to whenever it's on.

OK, so I never watched this as a kid growing up. I was into manga, nickelodeon, Disney etc. However, now I am 25 i decided to go through all the TV shows I missed whilst growing up and this was one of them. Boy oh boy, I was not disappointed. Despite the last show being run over 20 years ago, this comedy is well worth the watch. Will Smith is obviously the star, but the performances by every single person in the Banks family was memorable. Some episodes were there just for the laughs, some were slower and some had serious learning reflections. The latter is what made this show stand out. Going from an episode that made me laugh to one with a serious message of gun control or racism sets this show apart from the majority of sitcoms. It was, well, a fresh experience. One of the few gripes I had was that some of the jokes were repeated many, many times. It did start to grate on me when Will would say "You know what I'm sayyyyyiiinnnngggg?" in that characteristic tone. The other thing that slightly annoyed me was the re-casting of Vivian. I understand why it happened, but I just do not think the replacement was anywhere near as good.Other than these minor points, I thoroughly enjoyed watching this show from S01E01 to S06E24. If you have not watched this show before, you should. If you have seen this show before, you probably should watch it again.

The Banks family, a respectable Californian family, take in a relative Will Smith, a street-smart teenager from Philadelphia. The idea is to make him respectable, responsible and mature, but Will has got other plans. The Fresh Prince of Bel Air is basically the show that made Will Smith a star in this series he showed his comedic skills and trust me he is freaking hilarious here and so was James Avery as Philip Banks and the rest of the cast does an extremely great job as well there's also some guest appearances from other good actors such Michael Rapaport, Don Cheadle and a lot of famous musicians also have cameos. What also surprised me is that there were some dramatic moments as well that truly brought me the feels this is a show that totally shows the 90's at it's best and you won't be disappointed.
