if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.

Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.

A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.

After 16 years, I expected more of the same or a crescendo for the end. But it's just a massive letdown. Aku, the literal essence of evil now sounds like a rabi from NY, has self-doubts and just moans and whines all the time. His minions are nowhere to be seen except for one who is just stuck on "repeat' with the catch phrases. The scottish sidekick has 20+ daughters of the same age, the he dies, but not quite, and he has... magic bagpipes stronger than Aku's magic. /!\ Jack is an emotional wreck, lots of unnecessary drama about details but then he falls is love with a female assassin sent to kill him and they have... awkward moments. /!\ Good grief! In the age of cinematic reboots, even this has been plowed over in ordet to make a buck. The producers should've just let the it end with the original seasons. Utterly disappointing.

I didn't think much of this show until the middle of last decade but when I tried it it was really good. Action, not a lot of talking, suspense, thrills, a warrior with a sword (a former MadTV regular), and a master of darkness (who would later voice Uncle Iroh on Avatar: The Last Airbender); all combined for a good series. Plus, each episode focuses on a different theme. Aliens, Ancient Egypt, desert thrills, demons, gangsters, bounty hunters, and even a Scottish warrior. What a package!

If I had to choose my favorite series of Cartoon Network then Samurai Jack would take the first place easily. This series mixed the samurai, with the post apocalypse and Tartakovsky and his team put their lives and souls to make perhaps the first animated series apart from anime with a truly cinematic feel. When I heard that the series would continue and end this year I hoped that the last 10 episodes would do justice to Jack and not only they did it but the series was stronger than ever and the ending though a bit rushed was fitting for a series like that. It has both a satisfying conclusion but also a feel of closing for you realize that this is it! As for the travels Jack had not a single one of the places he visited felt like a functional environment with culture, history ,even their own ecosystems and all that in just 25 minutes. The same applies to the characters Jack and we encounter ,they are quit memorable and some have backstories that will put your heart strings. To the fighting itself ,amazing it has been more than a decade that Jack was missing but his style and the struggles he has to pull through are the stuff of legends ,like the impact he has to each place he visits as we see in the final season. And as for the villain Aku ,the main villain has one of them most sadistic and at the time funny personality and this two aspect plain-ed excellently. In the end this series was part of my childhood and I remember it funnily and now that has a conclusive end I also fill like a part of my younger self had a conclusion about something that he loved to watch ,unlike with Prehistoric Park, Primeval, Justice League Unlimited, Wolverine and the X-men, Spiderman (1994) and Kyle XY.

Never has a piece of visual art touched me so much as Samurai Jack has in it's last season. A show from my childhood abruptly pulled over a decade ago with no ending came back now in 2017, in my adulthood, as an adult show, and not only gave the show an ending and final rest it deserved, but elegantly deals with concepts that all persons must face throughout their life: from personal demons, to duty, to love and sacrifice - all in beautiful art and style.Definitely worth a watch, even if you haven't seen the first 4 seasons.
