I like movies that are aware of what they are selling... without [any] greater aspirations than to make people laugh and that's it.

While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.

I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.

Genndy Tartakovski is one of the greatest animators of all time. He earned that spot long ago when his animations Samurai Jack , Power Puff Girls and Dexter's Laboratory aired on Cartoon Network. Last year , however , he proved to everyone that he has a special place reserved in the Hall of Fame of animation.Samurai Jack is a show well known to kids who grew up in the 90's and 00's . It was (and still is) popular due to It's originality and the wonderful way in which the genres of action , comedy, drama and sci-fi are mixed. It uses the art style of the late Eyvind Earle who is famous for his contribution to the background illustration and styling of Disney animated films in the 1950s.The series is split into 5 seasons . Up until the end of season 4, each episode has It's own story and isn't that much connected with the others except for the episodes which depict the background of the main protagonist Jack and the rise of his arch nemesis Aku.Season 5 is ,without question, the pinnacle of the franchise . It futures some of the most stunning animations that I have ever seen. A story that is capable of making you sit on the edge of your chair until the end on the last episode. It contains brilliant plot twists which are set in the first episode and unravel in the last. Remarkable action scenes which make you forget that you are breathing . Characters with an extraordinary background and spectacular depth. The success of the last season wasn't only because of the great animation and storytelling but also because the way the show evolved. The greatest way to make an animation get back on It's feet is by raising the age bar and adding things that are not appropriate for kids like blood , kissing and love , a little innocent nudity here and there (without of course anything TOO inappropriate) and psychological and brutal scenes. By doing that , Genndy and his team were able to craft this masterpiece and make It a reality.I'm 18 now and I used to watch Samurai Jack 10 years ago. I can tell you , that the last season was so well made that It made me experience the emotions I felt while watching the show when I was a child. It made me relive my childhood again.

I didn't think much of this show until the middle of last decade but when I tried it it was really good. Action, not a lot of talking, suspense, thrills, a warrior with a sword (a former MadTV regular), and a master of darkness (who would later voice Uncle Iroh on Avatar: The Last Airbender); all combined for a good series. Plus, each episode focuses on a different theme. Aliens, Ancient Egypt, desert thrills, demons, gangsters, bounty hunters, and even a Scottish warrior. What a package!

Samurai Jack is a very good show. but its not for little kids. its very sophisticated and dark. Aku makes the show dark. a family of robots hack each other apart. jack is seen covered in oil. on top of a giant stack of robots. a robot is seen impaled on a piece of metal. and jack gets covered in bloody cuts. there's some adult jokes. like jack goes skinny dipping. and the first episode takes place in a alien strip club. with that being said i think Samurai jack is not for little kids. its for preteens and teens. and is a very good show for teens and adults. season 5 is much darker and vilonte. and aired on Adultswim. jack shoots a bunch of beetle bots with a gun. jack gets stabbed with a knife and passes out and falls in the water. and the river fills with blood. a wolf dies covered in blood. jacks father is seen killing people. and blood flys onto jacks face. jack almost kills all of Akus daughters. the scotsman gets disinigrated to a skeleton. and in the final episode jack finally kills Aku. and there's some really disturbing scenes. jack sees his father yelling you didn't save us. and a bunch of zombie kids are seen trying to reach for jack. jack talks himself into suicide. sews up his cut while screaming and crying in pain. and there's some swearing. like danm. somebody calls jack a great s o b and a robot head tells character his head looks like a penis. with that being said i think Samurai jack season 5 is not for kids. and is a very good show for older teens and adults.

The revival of Samurai Jack has far exceeded anything I hoped for. Jack is no longer Wolverine, he is now Logan! And all the better for it. I was in such anticipation of this show from the get go. But I wasn't going to let it go without criticism if they didn't do it right. But not only did they make it for adults, they made it epic. Who would ever of thought that having waited all these years, I was waiting for genius to happen. Its epic, sharp, intense and still holds all the beauty of the previous shows. This is a must see. Its not for kids, its for adults. This has the same intelligence as the Rick and Morty show but in different ways. This is up there with Archer. Action and art make Samurai Jack bold and beautiful. So blown away. Thank goodness. BRAVO!
