Highly Overrated But Still Good

Best movie ever!

The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;

please please please make a second season of ride... i love this show so much..... the ending of the first season broke my heart... lady covington is her grandmother... please continue so i can see her reconcile with her especially since tk is hers now..... please please please...

I think it must be just me, for out of the other scathing reviews I've seen here, no one has asked even one of the questions I'm going to ask, but like the robber who said to Dirty Harry, "I just gots to know, man" I must ask the following questions:1. Why is Kit's father, who oozes (urban) cowboy from head to toe, teaching classic (i.e. English/Eastern) style riding? 2. Why is Kit's father, who supposedly has a frightening resume of ranch (i.e., HORSE) work, never once shown on a horse? 3. Why is Lady Covington, namesake of Covington Academy, never shown on a horse? There are photos in her office...is there even a photo of her on a horse, past or present?I could put up with the frightening lack of originality or even logic in most of the characters (why does Kit go all the way to England to indoctrinate the Brits to the superior American way in this age of "infinite diversity"?) or the frightening lack of horses in this supposedly horse-driven show (the horse we see most often is the stock shot of a rider on a non-descript bay riding across the camera at the beginning of any paddock scene). But I just "gots" to know the answers to the three questions above.

This show is great! It has complex and appealing characters that we are always looking forward to watching! Our whole family will sit down and enjoy our new routine of watching this show every week night! I highly recommend this show if you have kids that love horses just like you might!

I hoped, this would be at least somewhat entertaining, but after sitting through two or three episodes, I have to restrain myself from just being vulgar. My kids watch it with eagerness to see horses, which INHO, there is not enough, and while I tried to bring up the absolute simplicity of the plot, and constant "regurgitation" of the most idiotic schemes, I am appalled that this is allowed on public TV. The moment you hear any dialogue, it is as if those persons had no brain - no common sense, and the pairing of characters is also "weird". I am sorry, but as I am no "critic" but this one is definitely the worst of all the "kid" shows I am "forced" to watch as of lately.
