... View MoreTerrible acting, screenplay and direction.
... View MoreThere is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes
... View MoreExactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.
... View MoreBoiling it down to steam - is everyone absolutely as ignorant, naive, moronic, weak & irrational in this whole damn county? Seriously pathetic. This is essentially an adaptation of a modern cult, and with the stories being told (rumors) as well as the proved crimes committed, how in the he!! is it possible for such a group of people to go unbidden for years upon years? It's not. After so many "peaceful" groups gone awry (Waco) I cannot see this as being at all possible, even in backwoods cool country. How does this Big Foster just keep doing what he does? It's as stupid as the bad dude in Walking Dead. And yes, I stopped watching that too when he was introduced. Why not just kill him? Many had many opportunities yet every one went haywire, as if he was possessed of some protective powers. Obviously a lunatic like that won't just stop his violent way. Absolute power...And as another said, where did all the luxuries come from? That's a whole lot of robbing. Yet they don't have any gardens, or livestock, even chickens running all over. Okay. Not realistic. How is that inbred big Foster is so keen, so intelligent, yet so stupid? I mean the dude figures sh*t out that is just so vague, so not obvious, but NO ONE ELSE CAN FIGURE OUT A DAMN THING! Okay. Not realistic. He's a brute, not Socrates. And what is that voodoo sh*t that is a "real" part of the show? Come on! Is this just pure fantasy or fiction? And so many pretty inbreds - yes absolutely they are inbreds, there's no way around that. It is proved science, no alternative facts here, that inbreeding creates a whole mess of physical and mental deformities & disabilities, to put it mildly. And that music, dear god hello 80's.It just got worse after about Episode 4, I saw the writing on the wall right off, but didn't realize it would go SO off the rails so quickly.I am about through with Season 1, not sure I'll waste my time on season 2, but definitely not surprised or disappointed that I will not have the opportunity to even entertain being entertained by a season 3.
... View MoreJust watched the latest episode and my heart began to race for the 15th time on this show. The sheriff entering feral territory for the first time was amazing. I love this show for so many reasons I myself love nature and all its creatures and these guys understand that and have a spiritual connection to the mountain not just a bunch of Inbred Hicks like the hills have eyes kind either. The show is just epic in my opinion I find my self getting closer to the screen when I watch this. 10 / 10 for me great show guys! Keep up the good work :). Kind regard's Leom.
... View MoreIt seems as if they had a total turnover in writers. This years story line is not as inventive nor realists as last year.DuE to the lack of imagination this once wholesome story has diverged deeply into the occult. it's now full of blood and satinism death and murder. This year's theme adds little to last year's show. They have injected the inherent evil nature of the Farrel dogs. I am no longer endeared to their plot trials nor hardships. Im not watching this once good show that highlighted a group of free under dogs again. The show will not make it to a third season. Are people losing it totally. The show sucks this year.
... View MoreIf you enjoyed either Sons of Anarchy and/or Lost, then you're in for a treat with Outsiders. This series brings in the best elements of both of these series. Sons of Anarchy elements are brotherhood, loyalty and betrayal. Lost is the unexpected twists in the multiple story lines and sometimes the writers are intentionally throwing you off course. There is a lot of slight-of-hand, so little details can seem trivial in the moment, but have purpose later on.Overall, the character development is well-written, along with the multiple story lines that contribute towards the overarching story of the clan versus society. It is suspenseful and a new type of story that I really enjoyed. The characters were developed enough that I was convinced it had to be based on real events. I even googled mountain people in Appalachia... I was really hoping there were clans up in those mountains still. Sadly, it is just really good fiction. Hope you enjoy as much as I did!
