I'm amazed and pretty angry about CBS taking it off the air. And contrary to most people here, I actually quite enjoy the series music! Does anyone have any information on which songs were used and/or covered for this series? It's pretty disappointing a TV series without any "shocking" content (violence, action, sex and controversial content in general) is pretty much doomed on US TV.It really saddens me that we'll probably never see some sort of closure to the series. The only positive part is that the actors involved moved on to some pretty great other TV series (most notably 24).

Now & Again is one of my favorite TV shows of all time. I had a great time watching these characters. My favorite scene was Michael appearing as an angel to help Heather come back from the near death of the lightening strike. I was terribly disappointed when the show was canceled but do not wish to see a neat and tidy wrap up. The stories in this program were creative and unpredictable and never neat and tidy.

I had completely forgotten this wonderful television show until my roommate played Porcelain by Moby (which i had always thought sounded like the theme music for this TV show). Then as i searched around for the title of the show and information about it, i found a renewed sense of anger towards the television executives who decided this wasn't a winner. I can't say this show is a sci-fi show. I can't say it's a story about life and the human condition. I CAN say it's the greatest blending between the two genres that you could ever imagine. It was fun, but also touching and made you think! Hopefully someone will produce another good show like this (imagine...actual character development!).

While Eric Close (Michael Wiseman) has moved on to do the show "Without A Trace", Dennis Haysbert (Dr. Theodore Morris) has moved on to do Twenty-Four and Margaret Colin (Lisa Schleigelmilch Wiseman) as well as Heather Matarazzo (Heather Wiseman) has played in various successful movies including ID4 and The Princess Diaries, respectively, this show was one of the best things on network TV in it's day and many were surprised when it departed from CBS to be replaced by absolute--well, let's just say those shows didn't last as long--opposites. While the plot for the show may have lost some viewers, the comedic timing between the four main characters made for great television. There was always great scripted dialogue such as the following:Heather Wiseman: Hey, you guys are in the government, right? Aren't you, like, packing? 'Cause if you are, now would be a good time to pull out your heaters and throw down. Dr. Theodore Morris: We are I.R.S. agents. We do not pack.Lisa Schleigelmilch Wiseman: Well, do something. For goodness sake. Threaten them with an audit. Also, one of John Goodman's better performances. To say this show is missed is an understatement, but at least we can see these absolutely incredible acting talents in what they have made hits (Now and Again, Twenty-Four, ID4, The Princess Diaries, which Heather Matarazzo actually made enjoyable to watch) and what will be fan favorites in the future. It was nice to see these Fantastic Four on one show but for now CBS has left viewers "Without A Trace". But will the two actors that really drive that show (Anthony LaPaglia, Eric Close) keep viewer's interest "Now and Again"?
