This story has more twists and turns than a second-rate soap opera.
... View MoreIt is both painfully honest and laugh-out-loud funny at the same time.
... View MoreIt really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.
... View MoreGreat movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.
... View MoreI don't know how this show managed a 6.2 out of 10 at the time of this writing. That would suggest that it is above average. How so? This show not only failed to be creative or interesting, it also failed to be funny. And being a sitcom, that's rather important.CBS really struck out with this and "S&^% My Dad Says, both airing in the same season. The difference between the two shows, is that "S&^% My Dad Says" actually had potential. A better writing staff, some tweaks to the characters, and they'd have had a hit. God knows they had a good premise. Mad Love had no hope from the beginning. They attempted to blend "How I Met Your Mother" and "Friends" together. Problem is, they used many of the same premises and jokes that those shows already had. Well, those two shows, and every other sitcom in the world that came before it. That was the biggest problem. It just wasn't funny. Some people believe that it's hard to make a good sitcom nowadays because they've been played out. That's not true. They simply have to evolve. And funny sitcoms nowadays have done just that. But Mad Love was a unfunny clone of better sitcoms. They attempted to have an on-screen dynamic with the husky guy and bratty redhead girl for sure. Which, if you've ever seen a sitcom in your life, know that had this show continued, they would have had banter for many seasons, then slept together. It's an often used formula. Problem is, this time it wasn't funny.I gave this a few chances. Why not? I was already watching CBS, so why flip it before I checked out a new sitcom? It failed to hit. I seriously don't remember laughing more than twice total. Not for each episode, total. It would have been forgivable that the show was unoriginal had it at least been funny. BUT IT JUST WAS NOT AT ALL. I've probably said that about five times in this review. But that's seriously it, it didn't make me laugh. I saw it coming a mile away, and didn't like it when it arrived. You would feel the same way if you watched it. Unoriginal, boring, unfunny. If it has a redeeming point, it's that I thought the acting was just fine for all the main characters. Bottom line, you've seen this show many times before, and you definitely liked it better then.
... View MoreThis is a great TV show. It is so funny, especially Munch! Perfect combination of characters, which really works perfect for each other. The different personalities, really make this show worth seeing. Basically all my friends in Denmark love this show, and i hope there will be many more episodes, even though i've heard that it doesn't look to good:( It is definitely a worthy competitor to How I Met Your Mother. I think this will be a great success. It probably will need some time to "blume", but it will definitely get there, if they proceed working on the TV show. Larry Munch, is a great personality, which is definitely the funniest in this show!
... View MoreI think this show is great. Funny, sarcastic, dippy, witty, and smart. Something for everyone! I recently heard it's going to be canceled :( That's really unfortunate. There's not a lot of good sitcoms out there these days. I do like 'Rules of Engagement', but find 'Mad Love' much funnier. I love it!! I think all the actors do a great job, and have great chemistry between couples and as friends. Jason Biggs is always good, and I think him and Sarah Chalke work great together as a TV couple, and I've always loved Judy Greer and think her and Tyler Labine are hilarious. I don't know where Tyler Labine came from but he's becoming one of my favorites (reminds me of my brothers actually). I thought the Pilot episode was good, and they've only gotten better. All in all, great show!!...and I can't stand the show "How I Met Your Mother". To me there's no comparison!
... View MoreI just finished watching the pilot of this series and i must say i found it entertaining. It certainly has a "How I Met your Mother" kinda feeling maybe a bit too much and some of the jokes were predictable, but at the end i found myself thinking that i would watch the next one if i had it right now. And that's what comedy shows should do. Entairtain you for 30 minutes. Since that's the case here, I'd say this shows meets my expectations.I also happen to be a huge fan of Sarah Chalke and Judy Greer and I would love to see more of them in this show. Labine and Biggs are doing a good job as well and this quartet seems to have some chemistry. Looking forward for some more.
