Admirable film.

I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.

a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.

Ok... Let's be honest. It cannot be the best movie but is quite enjoyable. The movie has the potential to develop a great plot for future movies

this show is the dankest. It's about a space alien that wants to invade earth and stuff. He does it by getting a human costume for people to think he's not from space. There's also a robot that's a dog and his name is a onomatopoeia or something. He also likes tacos and tacos are delicious and stuff. There's also this guy whomst've is trying to stop the alien. He's got a huge head, which means a big Brain. He must be smart. But he believes in bigfoot and not the real stuff like slender man and herobrine. Lastly, the animation is a one of a kind. It pretty much a bunch of squares, and triangles, and maybe circles. But none of them hexagons and squiggly lines like in sponge bob or something. Finally, that's why this show is great and you should get to amazon and buy an episode or two.

I only started watching this in mid-September 2011 and I've realized how funny this show actually is. I've downloaded all the episodes and I can't stop watching this. Richard Horvitz voices Zim so amazingly well & Rikki Simons is the perfect person to voice GIR. Even though GIR may be the funniest character on the show, my favourite character would definitely have to be Zim. He's very awesome as well and he knows that his rival, Dib, will never get to prove to anyone that Zim is actually an alien with a very cool disguise. I don't like Dib as much as what Zim does, but one day, Zim WILL destroy Dib and then he won't have to put up with Dib anymore. Doom to Dib and hooray for Zim! I haven't forgotten about GIR. He's Zim's crazy, silly, but funny robot servant, even when he's in his dog disguise and singing the Doom Song. GIR even says some of the most random, but funny things in a lot of the episodes. I know Zim can't stand GIR sometimes, but GIR can be quite helpful when he's helping Zim defeat Dib. I would keep watching 'Invader Zim' episodes every day, even when I get older and to finish off this review, episodes with only just Dib and Gaz aren't as funny as the episodes with Zim and GIR, which is true. Like the title says, 'You rock, Zim!'

Now this is the cartoon I've been waiting for! This is certainly not Spongebob that's for sure.It's about this alien whom is landed to Earth due to fellow commanders had an issue with him, while on Earth, he has a normal home with robot gnomes in his yard. Has a robot named GIR (can disguise in a dog costume). Inside is house, there is a underground lab where he does his random stuff. He goes to school (hence the name "skool" in the show). Where he disguises his alien form to a human. Some of the supporting characters in the show were a alien obsessed kid name "Dib" and his intelligent father, and a basic girl named "Gaz" . Elsewhere during the show, a there are certain types of incidents that happen, and so on, the plot gets extremely hard. I can't believe this show got canceled on Nickelodeon, this is an awesome show, so that means Spongebob is still alive and making a new episode each and every week. Spongebob made me bored to death, so I would not watch it again. This is the cartoon to see, if it's on DVD, go out and get it.Invader ZIM gets 10 stars.

I'm a new fan, but I've already watched each episode at least six times, maybe more.I started watching Zim when it was on Nicktoons from 6-7 AM. I got up to watch another cartoon, and Nicktoons was the only other channel that was showing cartoons. I'd watch Zim during the commercials, and then watch the 6:30-7 episode when my other show was over. My first run-in with Zim was "GIR Goes Crazy and Stuff". All I saw of it was the squid-man waking up, GIR and Zim fighting, and the line that sold me on Invader Zim forever..."CURSE YOU SNACKS!!! CURSE YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUU!!!" (Those of you who read my message board things know that that line's my signature.) After I'd caught up on my other show, I started watching Zim for the full hour. Unfortunately, just as I was starting to get into it, Nicktoons canceled Zim for that time slot.I barely saw Zim when he was first on TV (and I'm very sad about that) but I DID catch about the last ten minutes of "Tak:The Hideous New Girl", and I was absolutely blown away by the incredible CG and the funny lines. GIR was cute, and Zim was ADORABLE! I was home alone, and it was REALLY dark out, and watching Zim with that atmosphere made it the MOST INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE OF MY 7-YEAR-OLD LIFE!!! Unfortunately, when I went back for more Zim the next time I was home alone, he was gone, I thought, forever.After Zim (on Nicktoons) was bumped to FOUR IN THE FRICKING MORNING, I began watching Zim on the internet. Then I recently bought the Complete Invasion set, and I've shown some of them to my brother, and he has become the King of the GIR Fans. He and I quote lines whenever we can. My MOM, however, is a completely different story. She REALLY doesn't like it. I SHOWED HER "ZIM EATS WAFFLES" AND SHE DIDN'T LAUGH! NOT ONCE! But still, she's a mom.I'm still mourning the loss of Zim, King of Old Nickelodeon. With the incredible voice acting, animation, and CG, it left many people, including me, wondering HOW this Supreme God of Cartoon Characters could have been canceled. But that's all I've got to say on that. I'm off to look for Bloody GIR.
