everything you have heard about this movie is true.
... View MoreIn truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.
... View MoreThis is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
... View MoreI think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
... View MoreI think it's awesome and I would recommend it to whoever likes action and sci-fi

... View MoreGood pop-corn show - if you like martial arts. The mixture of a post-apocalyptic world new order with lots of fast paced action scenes, a little shot of mystery here and there and an okay to good cast (both acting and fighting are solid) and production value are the main ingredients to cook up one of my (still) favorite contemporary running TV-shows.A higher rating I would give easily - if the stories/story-line would got more depth and variety. But like Black Sails Into the Badlands (season 3 now) loses its quality, especially story wise. Season 1 was really good and interesting, 2 still good overall, but now in season 3 it seems they are running pretty fast out to tell us something substantial and new.All in all still okay but no more top-notch.
... View MoreI stuck with this series through the first 2 seasons because it showed promise but based on the initial season 3 episode it's gotten worse. Look you have to have some sort of believability in a show. Characters fighting used to jump stairs in Season 1, floors in Season 2 and now they're jumping homes and buildings. What's next, mountains? I love action but this is just stupid. Also, like many other AMC shows, there's little continuity in storylines across each Season which is like a big screw you to us fans. I think the producers are banking that brand new storylines will make the series seem fresh but instead they're pissing off the fans who want to see what will happen next (i.e. GOT or Breaking Bad). And I can't even get into character development since there really is none with the haphazard storytelling. Unless new writers are brought on board, I won't be back.
