Just perfect...

Good movie but grossly overrated

I am only giving this movie a 1 for the great cast, though I can't imagine what any of them were thinking. This movie was horrible

This is really good series & nice action from Josh Holloway golden boy. I love you see more, please give it a chance as lot of people expecting next season. People here in united kingdom love to see series like this and Josh Holloway looks great and much more different in this role. This season reminded me Kiefer Sutherland's 24 shows true life of agents and dirty politics. Its great concept and best cast you should give couple of more seasons.Overall one of the things you can't stop watching after you've seen five minutes of it.I would strongly recommend that if you don't already watch this, start now because you're really missing out the great series.

The show starts well, and then gradually falls apart.There is nothing wrong with the technical aspects of this show. It might be because of this that i tolerated the first ten episodes. Now, fifteen minutes into the eleventh I can feel that I've had enough.As I said, technically it's competently made. The shooting, the sound, the lighting, the costumes, the cg; everything is top notch. If this is all you need from a show, this is the show for you. Also, you're weird.I'm not going to gripe about the acting much. There is quite a bit of melodrama which I'm absolutely fine with.No, my gripes is with the writing. The characters are devolving as the show goes on, and the plot is just getting dumber and dumber.The characters start full of praise, somewhat complex giving them the possibility of evolving, but with enough unknowns that they can be explored as well. By the tenth episode it's clear that there will be no character growth. In fact I'd say that the opposite has happened. It's like the writers considered small oddities and personal traits outside the clear cut character archetypes as flaws and polished them away. Celebrations, now the hero is finally competent in all fields and a complete sociopaths treating unnamed characters as so much scaffolding.But the characters are also a minor gripe. Archetypes are archetypes for a reason, and I can tolerate quite a bit of use of these. But the plots. Oh, the horrible plots.The military and intelligence personnel routinely make decisions so tactically unsound my five year old would ask me why they were so stupid. This is especially evident in the actions of the protagonist since we see so much of him in the show.Also, for a science fiction show, the writers obviously don't know anything about any form of science. There is so much bad science in the show, and so much of it is completely unnecessary. It's just lazy hack writing made by ignorant authors who don't care about what they're doing.So, at 10,3 episodes I call it quits. Adios Intelligence. The first few episodes was worth the view.

Overall, the 13-episode series is satisfying!✓ Convincing performances (except for the sometimes cheesy father and son scientist tandem).✓ Gripping mini-stories.✓ Captivating female lead (now watching more of Meghan Ory!) ✓ Exciting futuristic tech (the cyber rendering ability is the most satisfying of all).The story could have been somewhat like a superhero origin story where new uses and more unexpected powers of the chip are gradually being discovered episode by episode and each story revolving or involving such new changes. Eventually, the hero would have been able to exceed the powers of the newer chip installed on the female counterpart.It would have also been cool if the renders in the lead's mind were shareable to his team.But I guess these would have only been possible if the show was not cancelled. Such a great show!

I sure hope they keep this show on. My husband and I really enjoy it and the network made it hard for some people to find it because of the established shows that were on opposite networks. We have told some of our friends about this show and I know they now have more viewers. Please do not cancel this show and give it a second try. The acting is great and I love that it is not repetitious and refreshingly new. We even tape it to watch it again because there is so much going on that we see things the second time that we missed the first time. I also feel that the last show left us hanging and wanting more information on certain characters. BRING IT BACK PLEASE.
