It's hard to see any effort in the film. There's no comedy to speak of, no real drama and, worst of all.

It's a mild crowd pleaser for people who are exhausted by blockbusters.

This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes

I found this DVD set by chance online, read a couple of good reviews and figured I'd take a chance, it didn't take me long into episode one, to realize there are some chances you just shouldn't take ! The narrator, oh my god, what pit of hell did they drag him out of ? And I hope they can get a refund, as he just ruins the entire show, and for me all credibility of it as well. How can I take a paranormal show as at all legitimate, when they use such a cheesy narrator, and let's be honest they could of just gone with Rob, he was OK to 'lead' the team, surely using him should've been a given. If there is a season 2, and I'm betting there won't be, after watching episode one of the first season, for dear god kill the narrator and then go hunt his ghost ;)

What is there to watch here? Self-videoed "experts" running away from their own shadows, self-proclaimed psychics pumping out the same bilge that any Halloween party medium could spout, 0% hard evidence of anything paranormal, over-dubbed sound effects where viewers wait for real audio to manifest itself, and a grand wrap-up at the end where everyone congratulates themselves on finding...nothing. I'm surprised that Robb Demarest is involved with this junk. He's already earned the respect of investigators and audiences from his previous years with quality productions. After a decade of Ghost Hunters the bar is set pretty high, and this claptrap deserves to be dead and buried with no chance of resurrection.

Incredibly cheesy. Very poor intro music, the narrator sounds like a Hannibal Lecter knockoff. I was hoping for something much more professional and interesting. The research was almost non evident. It was something I would expect from a group of 7th graders with Dad's video camera, trying to scare each other.Quit trying to be cheap Syfy! This was a bomb in 2014, and it's still a stinker today. Invest the money and bring us our beloved professional back. You've been promising for three months. Am coming to the end of my patience, as I expect other paranormal enthusiasts are as well. Very soon I will be switching off SyFy for good. Especially if they think this is an acceptable level of tomfoolery, smoke and mirrors. Ridiculous. Another SyFy leering failure. Does the Programming Department really think that insulting it's audience is an acceptable practice? If yes, heads need to roll.Don't waste your time.

i was very excited to finally see a paranormal show on my TV that was done in Australia! I missed the first episode unfortunately, so started with Geelong jail episode. I'm very excited to see Ian back on my TV screen after seeing him on most haunted for so long it's great having him back. i'm really impressed by the evidence that the team got, especially the photograph and the video, that was amazing! its also great to see that there are Aussie's on the the team and not just internationally recognisable people. I Can't wait to see the rest of the series. I hope that they dull down the background music and noises and it interferes a bit with the viewing as sometimes I wasn't sure if that was the real noise or just sound effects and music added later. The format resembles most haunted (an English show, but that's cool. A great start.
