Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.

To all those who have watched it: I hope you enjoyed it as much as I do.

It is encouraging that the film ends so strongly.Otherwise, it wouldn't have been a particularly memorable film

I didn't watch the show in my childhood although I did watched Saved by the Bell. And I was curious to see this short prequel happening in Jr High that was the beginning of a very famous show from the early 90's.It was surprisingly pretty good. The idea of it was very similar to Saved by the Bell. Of course the target audience are children and this is how I rated it. I think it was a great show with humor for young kids showing them adventures in school and providing a valuable lesson each time but not in a persisting, lecturing manner that would have turned them off.The cast is pretty good. It is surprising that Miss Bliss didn't make it over to Saved by the Bell. She was a great character and a very nice teacher. It was also surprising that Lark Voorhies and not Heather Hopper made it to the next stage because Nikki was a much more interesting character than Lisa with her breaking nails. Wasn't that her only "joke"?.Also a nice bonus is the original pilot that had an absolutely different cast. It is just fun for seeing the teen stars in their beginning who went on doing completely different projects. A sort of historical episode for the 90's TV fans.

I always thought that this, "Good Morning, Miss Bliss" was just the original "Saved by the Bell" because everything was the same, high school layout, writing, classrooms, etc. etc. etc...I could go on. You had your first AC Slater; that forgien kid with the jerry curl hair. The yuppie, friend of Zacks with the same big hair as Jessie. The only thing missing was the hot chick; Kelly. But take Hayley Mills thirty years before and she could be a Kelly. (Damn, Hayley Mills was cute back in the day.) Anyways, to me this will always be the original Saved By the Bell. Either way, they are both good shows to fall asleep to take you back to your high school days.

Okay, so this show wasn't that great, but I hope everyone realizes that this was the show responsible for the launch of Saved By The Bell, one of the most awesome Saturday morning shows that I must say I and everyone I know watched religiously as we were growing up. :DI just wish I could see more episodes of it. I only get to see it occasionaly when they venture into the earliest episodes of the show which older Zach usually narrates the beginning of (renamed Saved By the Bell and played now in syndication as if they had been normal episodes of the SbtB series).Oh, and Saved by the Bell: The New Class was terrible!!!Long live Zach, Kelly, Lisa, Screech, AC, Jessie, and Mr. Belding! hehe

My opinion of this original version of "Saved By The Bell" has remained virtually unchanged since it premiered over a decade ago. Basically, it's rarely funny, sometimes quite slow-moving, and yet, I still occasionally watch the reruns because it is a pain-free way to kill some time. That's hardly an endorsement, but it is quite the compliment considering how weak this show really is. I can't explain why I watched it when it first aired, and I can't explain why I sometimes watch it now...perhaps these days it's a nostalgic thing, but I don't really know. One thing's for sure: unless you grew up watching this and "Saved By The Bell", you shouldn't bother giving this show a chance.
