This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.

for some people may be thinking that this movie must be a not make sense movie, because everything that happen is out of our sense, and all of that can not happen in the real world. but fringe can make me think that maybe it can happen. because of the explanation and the acting really make me amazed. the explanation of the event really can make it all make sense and so clearly biologic and smart. so, although i have not finished watching this movie yet, i have thought this is an awesome TV show about science.

J.J. is an amazing man. First I watched his "Alias" and was completely in love with Jennifer Garner) It's a kind of magic) What J.J. does and I'd like to thank him here) Thank you J.J. for making these shows that make some moments of my life truly magical))Now... no spoilers at all. Just a hint) Tiny one) The choice for John Noble for this show was a hit) The thing is his Denethor character, in the Lord of the rings, how he was deeply... madly obsessed with his sons, and mostly, Faramir... this obsession and this character was somehow brought into this show. But Walther Bishop is not Denethor he is a joyride)) This actor John Noble creates such an impossible character... deeply humane, deeply..hugely funny..and yet with a shakespearean tragedy inside. You know, you can watch Fringe on a rainy day and get sunshine from this Walther)) Try it) I actually prefer this show to Lost. The chemistry between the main characters is not just believable, it's alive) I think Fringe is the most kind, humane and really ... best thing J.J. did really)) There are some horror scenes, some FBI routine but this company of leading characters it... feels like family in a good way)) And this is what I would really like to stress out. The thing that J.J. does and always tries to do is actually not fantasy, sci-fi and twists in a plot. It is about people being together. Despite of all differences, all the controversies, offences and misconceptions... to be together and be happy.. simple and true... this is his message)) So... I guess I haven't made a very good review about the show because I'm kind of living in it...with it... with these very beautiful characters) But give it a try)) Do not compare it to X Files or other shows, just remember - this is a brilliant show, full of great stories , great twists, great people, but in the fist place, first and foremost it is about pepole being together, the story of Humanity

A friend recently recommended this show to me. On that high recommendation, I purchased the first season. What a mistake! I made it to episode 12 before I finally gave up. This show is clichéd, poorly written, poorly acted and poorly executed. One thing I demand of any sci-fi show is plausibility, regardless of the story line.So we seem to have a mismatched band of characters that are saving the city or world every episode. We have Olivia, who is supposedly an ex-marine but there is nothing about her bearing that remotely resembles military... except her amazing ability to dodge every single bullet that is shot at her... some point blank. We have a 150+ IQ genius that has next to no bearing on any outcome in the stories. And we have the brilliant genius that has been in legal isolation for 17 years, but somehow has been able solve EVERY SINGLE problem without help outside the core group, using his 1970's era equipment. How is that possible? Imprisoned in isolation for 17 years, but is somehow current on latest advances and techniques and is orders of magnitude better than any other scientist on the planet? And how is he a scientist of everything. So far he has been a scientist in Biology, Biochemistry, Medicine, Pharmacology, Epidemiology, Veterinary, Chemical Engineering, Physics- Theoretical and Applied etc. Scientists devote themselves to one or two fields in a lifetime, and most never achieve high status, yet this scientist is expert in dozens of fields. As an example of the twisted logic used in this show. The scientist was in legal isolation with a court order stating that only immediate family could visit. So we are supposed to believe that the CIA, NSA, FBI and DoHS could not organise a visit to the scientist. But, and this is the ludicrous part of it, the son could have the scientist released into his custody! So nobody could visit him, but we can have him released to visit the world!! And why is it that every problem that has occurred has happened before? And why are the perpetrators of these crimes somehow always connected to these three people? Not enjoyable and very frustrating to watch. Another show that uses the "solved just in time" story telling technique.
