While it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.
... View MoreThe movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
... View Morewhat a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
... View MoreThe film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
... View MoreThis wins as my favorite adult animated tv show. All the other tv shows such as family guy, South Park, rick and morty don't compare to this. F is for family is a honest and relatable tv show showing the ups and downs of life I would suggest watching this.
... View MoreWhat does it say about me that this show reminds me of growing up in a middle (low) middle class family in the 80's. I love the humor and the real life situations that too many of us can probably relate. Through all the cursing and jokes there is still a strong message about friends and family. It's not, PC by any means but, if you can't laugh at this show then it's not for you any way. I hope more seasons are in the works.
... View MoreI'm about half way through the second season of F is for Family. You'd think walking in that you've watched The Simpsons, Married With Childre, Family Guy etc. you've already seen it all. Fortunately F is for Family takes a different approach. It's painfully honest and the payoff is hilarious. If you're having a rough day, a few episodes of F is for Family will turn you around. No punchlines or blatant references to culture, just a funny & honest show.
... View MoreI've read some reviews and a word that comes up a lot is honest. I totally agree. Comedy is about showing a mirror to society. This shows does that, it tackles a lot of issues in just a short span of time. Which demonstrates just how brilliant it is. One issue is how minorities are portrayed in the media and how it effects people's perception of them. There is a moment in the show that shows how sinister that can be. Because there are a lot of details in the background you should pay attention especially when it comes to newspapers or whats on the television. Even though this show is set in the 70s about a white family I can still relate to it.
