It's fun, it's light, [but] it has a hard time when its tries to get heavy.

Funny, strange, confrontational and subversive, this is one of the most interesting experiences you'll have at the cinema this year.

There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.

Great movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.

I enjoyed this show. Its over-all quality was superior to most currently available shows. That doesn't mean the show was not flawed, but I suspect a lot of the criticisms I have read here were due to overly high expectations. As pure SciFi, I did not see the inconsistencies with potential reality that has become so common in recent SciFi productions, although the show did fail, as many SciFi stories do, to keep the "magic" limited. The aliens portrayed failed to use their established abilities whenever consistent use of those abilities would have prevented more exciting stories. I also found the stark black-and-white portrayal of good and evil and the frequency with which main characters switched sides unnaturally contrived. However, the acting was excellent, covering for many inconsistencies with nuanced changes in motivation demanded by the script so that the overall experience was still captivating.

I'm up to episode 2.6 and I really don't know why I'm still watching this. It may be on SyFy (which really should be called Sci-Fi), but it should really be on Really. I've been borderline giving up on it since episode one season one, but for some reason I'm being hooked in by glowing eyes - and wanting to know what happens next.I've never been much of a fan of Halle Berry, and this series doesn't help. Molly's behaviour as a human and as a hybrid don't seem to be much different. Either way she's emotional, unpredictable and - though I hate to use the word - hysterical. I don't understand how she ever got through the astronaut training. I'm glad her stupid husband is out of the picture but, sadly, her stupid robot boy is still around. It's not quite a soap opera, and it's not really sci-fi. It's actually mushy melodrama with a science fantasy coating. So I'll grit my teeth and struggle through to the end, despite all my reservations.

I put a 5 because season 1 should be a 10 and season 2 a 0 so it's an average. My husband and I started season 1 on Amazon and stayed up til almost 3 finishing it in one day. We just couldn't stop watching. We got ready for another marathon for season 2 but it became torturous and we had to stop less than halfway. We hated the way they destroyed the family, people disappeared with no explanation (Sam who was her only friend, the Japanese guy behind the whole story to say the least), can't stand the new slutfest going on with so many characters as the show had been clean, really, really don't like Lucy. Bad influences using the same tactics on Ethan is getting really old, love JD but give him less cheesy lines please and give Molly some sense and a more relatable character. Loved her when she was fighting to find her baby but in season 2 she's just weak and pathetic. Her nighttime "outings" serve no purpose and are uncomfortable to say the least-tattoo drug man and fat, old frittata man especially. We finished the season by reading the summary of each episode on this website. Sounds like we didn't miss much. I would like to see another season but seriously, figure out who your characters are and stick to it - consistent characters and a cast that doesn't change so much are key to keeping loyal fans, plan the entire season storyline and then break it up so it doesn't feel like a week to week scramble to fill time without direction.
