This story has more twists and turns than a second-rate soap opera.

Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.

There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.

An excellent show. i really enjoyed it. i watched it like 5 times but still is not enough. i am also a medicine student and for me this was really an amazing show ever. the acting was 10/10. and the story was also great, not like typical ones. you can say more work less drama. why don't they make more like these? i really liked dr-micah role. dr-gina role was also great, more like a real person in a hospital when your an internee. after watching the show i m thinking that after some time this time will come on me as well and how will i react in medical emergencies. this show is very inspiring and can learn a lot from it. seems like a reality show to me didn't seemed like they all were acting or have prepared the line. the timings is perfect.

I'm a man of 30, but I really love this show. I fell in love with it from the very first episode. The lead character is a socially awkward doctor who tries to survive at her hospital as she navigates through its many different facets. It's quirky, weird, awkward, but just perfect amount of all. It's not trying too hard to be funny, and that's what makes it work for me. It is very similar to Scrubs, though without the over the top comedy and especially the day-dreaming bits that I could have lived without. This one definitely does have a better balance. Oddly enough, it's not characterized as a comedy on IMDb, but I would definitely consider it a comedy - more so than drama. It's a really great feel good show. I love the acting of the lead character. She feels very genuine. I hope they pick it up for the second season.

This lasted one season because it's an even more annoying version of Grey's. The patients are younger the interns are younger and stupider and the lead has slightly more irritating mental illness. The constant voice over and music is lifted from Sex in the City so maybe they'll do surgery on shoes. First day of work you save a life while chatting with (like) a nine year old, talk about your boss's sexual orientation, get in a screaming match with that mean girl from high school. Even the respective rolls of the characters and casting is the same as Grey's. I bet though there will be a lot less rolling around on the floor having sex at work. In any case I have to put in the time because wifey eats this chick TV stuff up. Thank God it's only 13eps.

Emily Owens (Mamie Gummer) is a new intern trying to make her way in the hospital. Instead of grown up mature relationships, she finds that she's back in high school. This is the traditional otherwise-successful-girl who just can't find love. For shows like these, it's all about the lead's likability. Personally, I like Mamie Gummer who is the daughter of Meryl Streep. So I like this show. I guess if you dislike that kind of awkward shucks outsider pretty girl, then you'd probably dislike the show. It was definitely disappointing to see it canceled after 13 episodes. It's too bad but shows aren't given a chance anymore.
