What a great show! Obvi many critics didn't keep watching and don't know what they're talking about...! This show has grown up and yes, I've been hooked for awhile. I don't care if it's realistic, it is to me and it's a good story almost every time! I care about the characters. Beghe is "the bomb "! Don't ever stop and ps. The same goes for Chicago Fire. Afraid I had to give up on Chicago Med tho...A certain actor I could just never believe, or Hs red hair either.

Like other reviews have mentioned; the show is full of cliches, acting (or over-acting) is an issue, and the biggest problem is that the characters violate every rule on regular basis and act tough and self-righteous about it - it has become tiresome. The episode last night I thought would see the end on Hank Voight but no, he managed to get away with it. By the way, he is the one and only person responsible for Al's death. No one in the squad challenged him on that. Antonio picked a fight in the previous episode but that's it. Voight is 90% good but 10% a very dangerous man. Even as a character if he resembles the slightest bit of reality he is what is wrong with cops in the US. The writers don't even show a hint of judgment, in fact they have been increasingly justifying and enforcing his obnoxious behavior (covered up to be vigilante justice) - It is ok to a certain degree but they are over doing it, very wrong and dangerous.

Good show sometimes best way to watch it record it skip past the modeling or boring spots. Halstead should be wearing a leather jacket not some Windjammer.

I just started watching Chicago Pd and, I am truly addicted. It reminds me of NYPD Blue times 10, but during 2017 (future). Voight is electrifying. I love his bad-boy/good-guy mentality. The entire team is great and a good addition to today's TV. I watch it on every channel (NBC,USA,Oxygen, and demand). I hated to see Lindsey leave. The other ladies are great especially "Kim Burgess" that's my girls but they can never replace "Lindsey". This show is all action and definitely worth watching. Although I know it's just TV, this show touches my heart because it displays real life scenarios. Life is not perfect for everyone but it's good to know that there can be some happy endings. I enjoy watching shows produced by Dick Wolf. I've been a fan since he produced Law & Order etc.
