Instead, you get a movie that's enjoyable enough, but leaves you feeling like it could have been much, much more.

It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.

Dirty cop Kate Prince (Annie Ilonzeh), cat burglar Abby Sampson (Rachael Taylor), and Gloria work for the mysterious Charlie Townsend in Miami fighting crime outside the law enforcement with the help of hacker John Bosley (Ramon Rodriguez). When Gloria is killed by a car bomb, they investigate Eve French (Minka Kelly) who turns out to be Gloria's childhood friend and a car thief.Instead of concentrating on creating compelling characters, this show is more interested in a dark convoluted Miami Vice. The girls are hot but the characters lack interest. Eve is suppose to be a car thief. It's the perfect opportunity to start the show with a fun car chase. The show needs to start with her personality and her story before getting recruited by Charlie. Minka Kelly's acting is still in question. I don't recall if she even drives in the show. The girls start without any rooting interest and fail to improve. They are empty models with bravado. It's action without any fun. There is no joy here. It was canceled after four episodes with only eight overall. The franchise started as jiggle TV, transformed into irreverent action movies, and stalled into unengaging action TV.

I think ABC (which stands for Annoying Broadcasting Company) has jumped the shark on these boring new shows. How dare they cancelling 2 soap operas and make room for the new year. At least they tried, but I will not watch the network again.I told the people before and I'll say to it again: NO ONE WANTS TO SEE A CHARLIE'S ANGELS TV REBOOT.I'm a big fan of the classic series that made the late Farrah Fawcett a bonafide sexy superstar, I missed those angels and Bosley as well. I still love the Charlie's Angels movies and hopefully I'm still waiting for an announcement for a 3rd movie to bring back Liu, Diaz, and Barrymore. But 2011 is a slow but bad start for TV shows. It's like we were still occupying Wall Street and steal plenty of money like the movie "Tower Heist." But "Charlie's Angels" is bad. Not enough action, a goofy set of cast, and a fraud script that may look like a series of stunt doubles risking their lives. Well it's just a coincidence. Also, I was hoping for some good cast. Unfortunately, I'm disgusted at how they put an African-American character on the show. It's just not right! They should've put an Asian, a Japanese, a British, or a Hispanic character on the show.Thank goodness I stayed away from the show after it was cancelled thanks to low ratings and harsh criticism. For those of you Angels fans, stick with the series on TV Land, stick with the movies, but do not ever record your DVR's to watch this over-the-top mess of a reboot! So please, Sony. Make with the 3rd Charlie's Angels movie, already.

I didn't think the program was that bad. It is light hearted entertainment. Not impossible to watch. I actually enjoyed the series. Shame there won't be anymore. OK acting might not be the best and OK the characters are young and hot but it's just a modern version of the program keeping with the times. What's wrong with bosley being a hottie. Nothing in my eyes. I think people are comparing to original series too much. For people who have never seen original as maybe too young. I am sure will like it. But get the most our of it as you won't get to see anymore as cancelled by abc.Hopefully there will be another remake made soon as I didn't get to see original and enjoyed this series

I'm aware that the new Charlie's Angels TV series has received a lot of negative reviews and I've met several people who don't like it. But I like the new Charlie's Angels TV series, in fact I think it is action packed and suspenseful. I like the fact the Bosley is a young man instead of a middle-aged man like he was in the original TV series. Rachel Taylor, Minka Kelly and Annie Ilonzeh are all very good an the Angels. I also like the fact that all three of these women have a criminal past and that they have been given a chance at redemption by working for Charlie as private detectives. Each episode I've watched has been quite suspenseful and action packed. I especially liked the episode "Angels in Chains" which is based on an iconic episode of the same name from the first season of the original series. For those of you who haven't watched the original Charlie's Angels TV series I'll explain. In the original series episode of "Angels in Chains" the Angels get themselves into a women's prison in the country to investigate the death of an inmate. There they discover that the nearby small town sheriff along with the prison warden are having young women arrested and imprisoned on trumped-up violations. The women are enslaved until they become prostitutes in exchange for early release. In the new Charlie's Angels episode "Angels in Chains" the Angels go to Cuba to investigate the disappearance of a young female American tourist. So the Angels pose as pose as unsuspecting American tourists. Upon their arrival at the Cuban Hotel the Angels are framed of drug possession and thrown into a women's prison, where their key victim, Tess, is also incarcerated. The Angels learn that a corrupt American capitalist is working with the prison warden and is having young female American tourists imprisoned and then used as prostitutes as a part of his business deals. Bosley joins forces with his ex-girlfriend, CIA operative Samantha Masters, to free the Angels and the other wrongfully imprisoned women. So I think the "Angels in Chains" episode is a great homage to the original series episode. So once again I like the new Charlie's Angels TV series and I will continue to watch every episode of it and recommend this show to people.
