A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.

The film may be flawed, but its message is not.

The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

Nice light hearted comedy - typical of what you'd expect from Mindy Kaling. I hope it continues

Do not understand why their are all these bad reviews? This is probably one of the only Netflix productions where I have genuinely laughed! All the characters work together (can be quite cliche but what isn't) and the writing isn't terrible.I just assume that every Netflix production is watchable, but terrible and this show definitely raised the bar (for Netflix)

But why is the guy who plays the Dean of the school not on the IMDB list?

As the show has gone on, the characters are becoming funnier especially the brother Matthew. He might be my favorite. I can definitely see Mindy's sense of humor which I enjoy and I'm glad the show has gotten better with each episode.
