It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.

Actress is magnificent and exudes a hypnotic screen presence in this affecting drama.

Ever since I started watching Being Ian, I was inspired to create movies, TV shows, and cartoons. I have no doubts that this is one of my favourite shows, alongside The Big Bang Theory, SpongeBob SquarePants, Family Guy, Phineas and Ferb, and several more. Ian Kelley is an optimistic kid who is fascinated with TV and, most commonly, films, which inspired me. Another thing interesting about this show is the fact that some scenes spoof such films as Disney's Pinocchio, Tron, Star Wars, and even King Kong. I also found the show on YouTube, and it is just as PHENOMENAL as the other great shows I watched. In my opinion, this is Jimmy Neutron mixed with Canadian elements. This is why any day, I'll watch an episode of a great Canadian cartoon like Being Ian over an episode of an extremely abysmal cartoon like Caillou. This is why I rated this one 10 out of Infinity and Beyond!

I do not know what the problem with this other review, but this show is i think one of the top 10 greatest shows on qubo and my son Danny 7 years old loves it and he watches all the episodes all over again i think that this show is good too well.. there is a few flaws in it but it is honestly good. so this story is about how Ian {the main character} has a wild imagination and is really into filming, but his brothers Kyle and Korey are always messing with him and he has 2 friends Sandi and Tyrone who are almost always loyal to him and lastly Ian gets in trouble a lot! and his air headed father owns a music store that dosn't really do great business.

This is an underrated show about a boy who has a mind of movie maker and does films around his home and his school and other places it shows how to be a great camer Filmer but compare to other TV shows being Ian is not an outstanding show its not the best or great its cheesy and the characters in are dull and not so cool so what do you see the point in watching this I can't think that this show should be rated 6.2/10 on IMDb its lame and cheesy and stupid and the characters have no development so what some people are going to disagree with me about this show.Any way the show is underrated and should not get a 6.2/10 on IMDb its lame and stupid and does not have one great moment in it. any way its lame and dull. This loser gets a big fat 3 out of 10.

Ian is a twelve year old boy from Burnaby who has an interest, if not an obsession, with film making. He therefore plans to become a director, and is often coming up with ideas for films and shooting them as best he can with the town and his family and friends. His two friends, Sandy and Tyrone, sometimes find this a trifle annoying, but generally support him.Ian's family, the Kellys, will often have different ideas as to how best to do something, and often his two brothers Cory and Kyle are involved in proceedings. Ian and his brothers work at their fathers keyboard and piano shop, and often this place is in the plot. The plots are generally about something simple that gets out of hand, and usually culminates with several threads forming a rope- that is to say, each character or set of characters problems or adventures collide to meet at the end.It is a fairly enjoyable show. The flash animation is certainly modern and smooth. The style is alright and the characters have a good amount of character to them.
