The Age of Commercialism
... View MoreSuch a frustrating disappointment

... View MoreThis is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
... View MoreA nearly carbon copy of the unfortunately short lived series Police Squad, and i mean that in the best possible way. Wonderfully ridiculous, if you don't laugh, there's something wrong with you! One reviewer here (who obviously fancies them self a Rhodes Scholar) insultingly commented in a pretentious, condescending way that this was a show suited only to those with a low IQ. I assure you it's just the opposite. Witty & silly all at the same time, for smart people with a great sense of humor. Created by Steve Carell & his wife Nancy, this show is hilarious and easy to jump into. They say laughter is the best medicine, Angie Tribeca is my prescription.
... View MoreIt isn't that funny at all and it tries way to hard to be goofy. Even Airplane, Naked Gun and Spaceballs had it's serious moments. Not every moment needs to be some kind of slapstick goofy moment with some improbable action or speech. It is trying to out do the classic goofball comedies and failing. Also the goofball moments are too far out there and appear to be written by children. I am serious and don't call me Shirly is classic. Sneezing your eyes out of their socket is trying to hard for laughs with minimal effort. This show has so much potential but fails at it's attempts at humor. The show might as well be filled with fart jokes.
... View MoreDon't get me wrong the show does have some good gags but to me this type of comedy seems a bit dated now (I am probably showing my age here). I can see how it might appeal to a younger generation who aren't familiar with Police Squad, the Naked Guns and Airplanes. But back then it all seemed so fresh and alternative and Leslie Nielsen was brilliant. But with Rashida Jones and Hayes MacArthur, although they seem devoted to the show, they just can't quite pull it off in my opinion. I can't see myself watching a whole season or more of it as even after only three episodes I find it to be getting tiresome rather quick. By the way, one of my favourites back then was Top Secret. Who remembers that?
... View MoreI can't remember the last time I watched a show every week that made me belly-laugh. My wife and I love this show. Last night's episode (3/7/16) had my wife in tears laughing so hard at David Hoffman's antics. Some people complaining about the lack of "acting" chops on this show just don't get it. It's NOT meant to be taken seriously on this level. JEEZ!!!!For those of you who don't like this, go back to watching your episodes of The Bachelor, the Kardashians/Caitlyn, any other of your stupid "reality" shows, or Hitler vs. Shark Week. The world is chaotic enough as it is not to let some laughter into it.
