In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.

The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

After Lately is a Mockumentary - a "behind the scenes" of the popular show "Chelsea Lately" on the E! Network. The good: It's not a Kardashian show, a major plus, and it is true original programming - there is no plot to it, and it never stops making you laugh. Another good thing the show has going for it: it's actually funny. It's not trying so hard to make you laugh at it - it's like second nature to the cast of this program, and they do it perfectly. The show has been on for 3 seasons, and I am waiting for a fourth season to show up.The bad: Too many people pass this show up. While it has no plot, that doesn't even remotely hurt it at all. It's a show that is what it is, and does well at being just that. If you haven't seen this show, please give it a viewing. The first and second seasons are on iTunes, and it will be money well spent.10/10

This show makes me laugh so hard. I have never seen anything capture the rawness and comedy of real life situations as After Lately does. I have to admit that I had no idea who Chelsea was or that this show was based on real people. Since Seinfeld went off the air, I haven't liked a lot of what I saw on TV. With most of the crap that's on T.V. I find that the acting is lacking and the jokes are, as Kramer would say, "soooooo played". After lately has a fresh and quick wit about it. I love the genuine, realistic, yet hilarious dialogue and interactions between the cast. Intelligent people with a sliver of a sense of humour will love this show.

I gotta say, I love this show. It was a little slow coming out of the gate, but I have been watching every one and I think it's awesome. I'm a Chelsea Handler fan, but I don't like watch Chelsea Lately every day... but I love that this kind of show exists at E! And I've never seen a show that blurs the lines of reality quite this way, which is interesting -- not everyone is a great actor, but the fact that they are real people playing themselves is fun enough to make up for it. It's not for everyone, but it makes me laugh... and it reminds me of Larry Sanders Show, just meaner and more real. I have fun watching these people because they sound like real people, like ridiculous conversations I have with my friends, and it feels natural, like people talking, like in The Office. I guess if you don't like these people, or if you just want more Chelsea Lately, this show won't be your cup of tea... but it works for me and I've been telling my friends about it. I hope it keeps going, it's way better than the other crap E! runs. I only watch E! for The Soup and Chelsea Lately... and now After Lately. Keep up the good work.

OK, first of all, I am a fan of Chelsea Handler and her show Chelsea Lately. I think that overall her comedy is good. However, her spin-off 'After Lately' is disappointing to say the least. Let's be honest, it is pretty obvious this show only came about because of her fame; there is no original plot for the show and no real reason for it's existence. The moment I saw the commercials for it I knew I was bound to find the show incredibly stupid. It's full of physical buffoonery, abuse of staff and nasty remarks, the only difference is that they're not funny. It's OK when you see it on the show 'Chelsea Lately', but on this show it just fails and looks fake. In addition, the acting is horrible. You can tell that the cast is forcing their acting, they giggle when they deliver the lines and it's just simply amateur work. I realize they are not professional actors, nor does the show promote them as actors, but there should be a minimum level of quality of acting for a show on E! that isn't really a reality, and the quality of work is dismal. I heard this show is supposed to be inspired or related to the popular show 'The Office', but After Lately fails at delivering witty comedy and simply gives you a sense of overall stupidity.I am really torn to give this show such a bad review because I am a fan of Chelsea Handler, but, for her own sake, it should be canceled.
