A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.

Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

The poster art looks great. Beyond that, I need to level set expectations. I'd call these Ramirez short films, "Werewolf Fan Films." As such I can forgive a lot on the production level side of things.Thankfully, no one has showered these reviews with the vitriol, "Werewolves of Stayville" received. I could see that the actors seemed to be having fun with the film. Most of the folks who crap all over efforts like this don't make films. I do, so here's some constructive feedback.I don't think the lack of credible makeup FX is what holds this back. 5 years later and this film doesn't improve on the quality of Stayville and I think that really starts with the script. In all humility I'd suggest that writer Alexis Ramirez should check out "Screenplay: The Foundations of Screen writing" by Syd Field. It's a tool for his tool box that would move his storytelling skills forward in a big way. At least it did this for me.I actually think there's a place for strong female character driven stories, especially in the werewolf sub-genre which is typically all about men turning into their inner beast. Keep moving your skill set forward and try again. The concept. artwork and catchy titles were enough to make me have a look, so that's something to build on.
