It's no definitive masterpiece but it's damn close.

Best movie ever!

Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.

Funny, strange, confrontational and subversive, this is one of the most interesting experiences you'll have at the cinema this year.

I thought this film more showed a selfish teenager who just thought about herself which was frustrating. I do think however that the beginning scene with the mum's suicide was done well to foreshadow the movie however there was more questions that needed to be answered about the box.

Could have been so much better if it wasn't for the bad acting and cutting away from gruesome scenes. It's supposed to be a horror movie. The box didn't only ruin the main characters life. It helped ruin the movie.

Viewer be warned, this is not a parody movie. Even half way through the movie there were so many hilariously stupid, cringeworthy and cliche moments that I thought it might be a parody, but unfortunately it is not. I highly recommend this to anybody who has seen more than one horror movie in their life and has even the slightest eye for bullshit, as it is often hysterical just how stupid it manages to be. Don't trust a single positive review for this movie, but if you enjoy so-bad-it's-good movies then by all means watch it.

When I see this film it reminds me of films such as The Bye Bye Man because it may have been bland but deserved a 5.7/10. The plot was simple, a teenage girl finds a wish box, 7 wishes, 7 deaths. The cliche thing is the "Be Careful What You Wish For" part because after watching the trailer you'll already know her life will fall into a spiral. The soundtrack at times also sounded off. Some characters didn't reveal much context and were there, some were not. But that is why I liked the movie. The movie didn't focus much on the side characters but just the main character with the box, you can clearly tell throughout the film what she's going through which makes it that the more special to pull off. This is both psychologically gripping and dramatic. I hope you enjoy it as much as i did...
