Alan gets a map to some war treasure which the Japanese army left behind on a small Pacific island at the end of World War II. But some gangsters try to steal the map from him and so he hides on Charlie's boat which just leaves the harbor. He manipulates the ship's compass so that Charlie is not aware that he is sailing to the treasure island. But when they step on the island, they discover that it is not as abandoned as they believed: there are some natives - and a Japanese soldier still defending the treasure

WHO FINDS A FRIEND FINDS A TREASURE is yet another vehicle for Terence Hill and Bud Spencer, playing a comic duo who find themselves stranded on a desert island which may just be the location for a hidden stash of gold. Before they can get their hands on the loot, they must contend with various allies and adversaries, from a loony tribe of native villagers to a Japanese soldier who doesn't realise the war has ended, to white slavers and a criminal gang.I found this particular adventure to be slightly tired in feel with a plot that's just an excuse to string together the usual crazed action scenes. This one was filmed in Florida but the island setting is quite realistic. The comedy is broader than usual while the action is familiar, but fun. The producers went to the trouble of building their own tank for the story which is pretty impressive. The usual brawling action is a hoot as always and Hill and Spencer give it their all, but there's a dip in quality when compared to their old western and crime classics. John Fujioka steals the show as the crazed Japanese soldier.

On a small pacific island, Alan and Charlie try to find a war treasure left behind by the Japanese army in World War II. Bud Spencer and Terrence Hill in another hilarious classic where they try to find an old treasure in an island this easily the best film of them since the first one i saw truly amazing comedy but also this 2 had such a great chemistry but also the film is hilarious and there's a lot of punching and kicking and that tribe leader was dumb as hell when that dude fell on top of him i laughed my butt on with his face. It's truly sad that they can't make films like this anymore. If you loved Bud Spencer or Terrence Hill you will love this movie cause it was truly amazing and the island it self was an amazing beauty.

Out from the pile of countless Bud Spencer action movies this is one of the best ones, and it also features Bud's best counterpart Terence Hill. Directly from the theme tune onwards this movie guarantees that you won't be needing any brains to enjoy this one; I didn't even notice that there was any other piece of music playing on during the film. Some people may not like it when a movie is full of comic violence, and even more comic adversaries, but also there is delightfully lot of different sceneries to keep any monotonous feeling away. Funny representation of the Japanese soldier who thinks that the second world war still rages on is something this type of comedy may be best suited for and it therefore is really worth seeing.

The movie is about two funny guys whose path crosses with an accident. They land on a small island and they start searching for a treasure which is probably hidden on that island. The movie is pretty funny and if you like bud&terence movies then you will watch this movie twice. The ending of the movie is sad and funny at the same time. And nothing is more important than a friendship. Eat puffin! It gives you power and holds you awake! you will get what i mean when you watch the movie. Ohh, the music is great "movin, cruisin" from La bionda. It has the taste of the early 80s. You can find it on napsters.
