Am I Missing Something?

Clever, believable, and super fun to watch. It totally has replay value.

This movie feels like it was made purely to piss off people who want good shows

There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.

A virus starts out in Sorgenfri about the time Gustav is crushing on the neighbor girl. The next thing we have is a massive quarantine with the military in level A protective gear shooting infected people. We don't get to see what "we have become"for an hour into the film. If you can't tell from the DVD cover, or film description, it begins with the letter "Z".The make-up was fairly decent for what little there was. The film spent most of its time building character as we watched an over protective mother do everything for her little girl. Feel free to fast forward through the first boring hour.Guide: 1 F-word in the beginning. Implied sex. No nudity. English subtitles.

Sorgenfri is a suburb in Denmark where its inhabitants live a quiet existence until the day a highly contagious and deadly virus begins to spread and the army is called to intervene by imposing a quarantine throughout the area. The inhabitants are forbidden to leave their homes under threat of death. It is then that (as in almost every zombie movie) a stupid teenager makes a stupid decision that ends up being the beginning of the end, freeing the infected and starting the epidemic on a large scale.This film does not bring anything new to the genre, but it is very well filmed and edited, the actors are credible and has an atmosphere that really causes tension in the spectator. 5/10

This one caught me off guard. I went in with low expectations cuz I never herd of this movie, I actually clicked the wrong movie on Netflix and it ended up being this one' what a happy accident. It started a pinch slow but that's part of a slow build. When the action starts it only gets better from there. If u like zombie movies watch this one. It will be worth it. I didn't know the Danes made zombie movies. The acting was pretty good and the it definitely gets a little intense. Some head shooting, some face biting. Never herd of the director but he's got some talent if you ask me. It kinda low budget but it doesn't effect the movies quality. Watch it!

For some this might have been a bit over-hyped. And I get that with great expectations, comes great disappointment. But if you try to keep in mind, that this is a low budget production and that it doesn't re-invent the wheel, than you may be able to have a really good time watching this. Because there is tension, there is drama, there is horror, but there is also comedy to be found here.The characters are very nicely drawn and portrayed by the actors. You still get clichés and you will see things coming. So while this far away from perfect, it can be a nice/decent night in movie to watch. Expect nothing more and you'll be entertained as well
