Muzafar and Feruz are two easy going shepherds from Taboulistan, a tiny country in Asia that is unknown to the rest of the world. To alert the world to his country’s existence, the son of Taboulistan’s president decides to instigate a program of publicity terrorism. Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.

It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

If you're interested in the topic at hand, you should just watch it and judge yourself because the reviews have gone very biased by people that didn't even watch it and just hate (or love) the creator. I liked it, it was well written, narrated, and directed and it was about a topic that interests me.

Because of the quotas, and of state money, the French movies are an ecosystem of their own: made to please the old white men from CNC, and finally to excite vulgar uneducated masses who have trouble understanding anything but stereotype humor in French. So the bad guys are dark skinned savage men who come to threaten "la notre" peace and democracy. The savages beat women and are generally stupid, yet somehow are able to speak more languages than the targeted public.Contact me with Questions, Comments or Suggestions ryitfork @ bitmail.ch

Nowadays, we live in a paranoiac, oppressive world where contest, difference are either crimes or pretext to crush civil liberties. So it's very courageous from Mickael to do a comedy about oriental terrorists ! Actually at my knowledge, it's the only movie in the world with that thematic ! It's also a movie about France and his view is true : we are not a country but a collection of tribes speaking the same language. It's a bit an update of the « 3 Freres » because we can see the evolution of the country in 15 years : more cultural, more violent and as much rustic and intolerant… In this background, Mickael delivers a great, funny movie. His girlfriend stays the same beauty and talented actress and for one time, Garcia is likable ! As usual, for the few true creative spirits, people tackles Mickael ! It's only his second movie, he does everything (writing, directing, casting, acting) and nobody likes it whereas he is the only one to make me laugh so often and so long ! It's true that he bites everything, everyone so i suppose that he can be bitten also ! In all cases, since « Morning live », he has my continuous support !

This film is a disgrace! Vulgar, not funny and racist, a long litany of clichés (France would be such a wonderful country if not for the French, Corsicans and people from the middle-east are terrorists, the French are always on strike, etc.)... It is even worst than "Borat", something I thought impossible. Even José Garcia, though an excellent actor, is unable to bring any interest to his role and to save this "thing" from a total wreckage. Do not waste your time and money watching this. The person branding it to be "An excellent French comedy" either hates comedies, or the French, or French comedies… or is the producer of this thing or perhaps Michael Youn himself.
