The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

It is interesting even when nothing much happens, which is for most of its 3-hour running time. Read full review

This animated movie starring Zoey 101 star Jamie Lynn Spears, acclaimed actress Brooke Shields, and Tom Arnold is great! I got it from the library only because I'm a fan of Jamie Lynn and wanted to see her in something else besides Zoey 101. It was great! Some actors can't pull off voicing in an animated movie, but Jamie Lynn nailed it! The only reason I gave it 8 out of 10 is because the beginning of the movie is kind of slow and you don't understand what's going on. But as it gets going, you understand! It has a great ending too! Singing is involved at the end too! :DBrooke Shields is hilarious in the movie in her portrayal of Mama Bear. She fits the role perfectly! Tom Arnold's performance is fair. Doesn't do much for me.

My mom buys my younger sisters a lot of movies that are of the 'straight to DVD' sort. This is no different, so when I walked into the living room to my sisters watching this, I wasn't expecting much. But this movie brilliantly twisted the classic tale! Goldilocks is a celebrity in the world of fables, but when her talk show goes down the toilet, she doesn't want to give up the spotlight. Her manager organizes a new reality show with Goldi moving in to the bears house. From there we see Goldi adapting, as well as the bears dealing with new found fame. The movie is filled with funny puns (the talent show judge being named 'Simon Owl'), as well as funny references for an older audience to enjoy. Reccomendable for everyone!!!
