This movie is up there with the all time bad ones. I don't know how the actors got through the dialogue with a straight face. When the cops are questioning the mother after the kidnapping I almost died laughing. "joey is not a normal, healthy baby..." mom says. No kidding! This prop they used for a baby looks like a 90 year old deranged midget. But the ditsy blonde babysitter picks up the baby and hugs it - she must have been smoking something other than cigarettes - and gets her neck ripped out for her trouble. It gets worse from there. This movie has no business being billed as sci-fi OR horror -just horrible. Don't waste your time on this one. I wish I hadn't, except for a few unintentional laughs.

i have seen better....and i have seen worse.this movie did not hold my attention long enough to prevent me from...washing dishes....mopping the kitchen....or rearranging furniture.the baby is unbelievable even if i do have to suspend belief. Michele Greene and Scott Valentine should be commended to even accepting pay checks for this low level C-grade scifi schlock. I have to admit...i did sit long enough to see the mom give the kid some good "bo's"(elbow blows) to the head. That scene was hilarious!!!Other than that, it was uneventful cinema.

Sequel to the average 1991 horror flick, this one relies on a paper thin story with few surprises. A single mom with an infant moves into a suburban neighborhood. Before long her baby starts killing people (a couple social workers, the babysitter and her boyfriend, etc.). Also on hand we have an angry woman who is one the loose gunning down children who we discover are the evil offspring of the original film's mad doctor villain. The special effects are pretty dumb and the killer baby looks like an ugly doll. The movie goes nowhere with it's chintzy story and the shocks the movie sometimes gives us to keep us watching are pretty tame. The un-thrilling conclusion takes forever to wrap up and the movie's obvious attempts at humor (with the nosey neighbors) are cringe-inducing. Michael McDonald (Mad TV), who is out of character here, is fun to watch in an early pre-comedy role, but otherwise, avoid it. One Star.

I found this horror gem in a local store and bought it. I watched it yesterday's night and was a surprise for me. I love B movies and this was very satisfying. In order to enjoy this kind of movies, you have to switch off your brain. After that, you have to pretend that the primitive animatronic baby is real (at least in the movie). Finally, don't pretend to find Oscar's performances for the actors. After that, enjoy an excellent movie. The plot is good and believable, tha acting is OK, the music score is excellent. In my opinion, it deserves a 5.0My advice, look for it in your local video rental, and enjoy.
