i know i wasted 90 mins of my life.
... View MoreIt isn't all that great, actually. Really cheesy and very predicable of how certain scenes are gonna turn play out. However, I guess that's the charm of it all, because I would consider this one of my guilty pleasures.
... View MoreAll that we are seeing on the screen is happening with real people, real action sequences in the background, forcing the eye to watch as if we were there.
... View MoreThe thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;
... View MoreIn the third installment of the popular series, Steve Coogan & Rob Brydon take their shenanigans to Spain to eat the local cuisine & try to to outdo each other's impersonations ranging from Michael Caine to Sir Ian McKellan. Coasting on the wisp of a story line, this trio of films continues to satisfy the laugh quotient in spite of itself. Let's hope it continues its journey as long as audiences still maintain an interest in this hilarious pair. The Roger Moore/moor bit is one for the books.
... View MoreThe first Trip movie was great, IMBD rating 8.1 The second "Trip to Italy" not so good and IMBD rating 6.6, and I believe the reson was all the slapstick and impressions and trying so hard to be funny. Very little about the restaurant they were at or the food, which is what their trip was supposed to be about. I hoped that they learned it might be a good idea to return to concept in first movie when making the third, no chance. They not only followed the terrible script of second movie but did even more idiot stuff that wasn't even funny. And guess what IMBD rating 6.6 and that's generous. These two guys are so talented and funny so what a waste of their abilities in this bomb.
... View MoreThis a bloody series for gawd's sake, so many judging it as a movie...How do these idiots even get around to finding this, never mind watching it. It appeals to a select audience only, and.When i say select i mean British! I have chuckled at and appreciated the banter and gentle ribbing between Coogan and Brydon throughout, and you really need to have that unique British sense of humour to even start enjoying it.... I loved it!
... View MoreThe third installment of The Trip offers, let's be honest here, no appreciation to its surrounding. It might be in Spain, but it seems there is a complete lack of respect to the background; the movie could happen everywhere, anywhere. There is no appreciation to the food the are constantly eating or the sights they are surrounded by; they seem to be much more invested in mimicing Roger Moore and Ian Mccallan. The jokes are never funny, the story is thin, and the only thing that keeps you going are the views - but then again, you can catch that on YouTube. No matter where the duo goes next, I won't be joining.
