Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast

Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.

It's easily one of the freshest, sharpest and most enjoyable films of this year.

I went to see it because of the funny trailer, the presence of El Pibe Valderrama, and the fact that I am from Cartagena, which is the location where the movie takes place. I found it kind of insulting that there are a lot of inaccuracies going from landmark locations and surroundings to traffic flow (the stars vehicles driving the wrong way) and no one that has been in the city long enough will believe most of those sequences. The movie tries to entertain but falls for the easy sequences and situations right down to practically copying similar sequences and characters from other movies. The plot is scattered all over the place and several subplot lines are open but never closed. A good opportunity to take on the subject of teenage rebellion and parenting is completely wasted. We see a youngster being grounded but by the next sequence is like it never happened. The rapping thing gets really annoying by the first third of the movie. John's acting seems right for what's intended. I had an uncle just like that and it is obviously very far from being ,say, a special commando task leader trying to recover control of an inter- ocean flight. Kudos for his Spanish pronunciation. Kristina Lilley's character is a total cliché, as well as Maria Gabriela's. Karen Martinez and Martin Karpan are simply eye candy. And I for one, would have like more of el Pibe than the annoying rapper kid. In the end, the movie felt like an excuse to show the different landmarks of the city (which I am grateful for) and that someone just wrote whatever situation he/she could think of to get the characters from one place to the other. I'm really curious in why John would agree to do a movie like that. I would definitely recommend skipping this one.

The worst I ever seen ... Why guys like Trompetero and Dago get many chances to make films? I guess the make money but come on. I just went to the theater to see how bad it was , but people go there because they think they are going to enjoy it. Too sad Please don't watch this movie I did it because I am studying directing But you don't have to waste your time like I did There is not scrip in this movie No plot, the camera bad Story? LOL. Unbelievable Acting? No where to be seeing I,hope they never make the Paseo 3, and I swear that if the do make it I will not waste my time watching this. I learned. A lot with this movie, like how not to,make the same mistakes that they made in in this horrible movie.0 stars

To whom it may concern: There are no words to describe how bad this movie is. The film is full of clichés and unfunny characters. Saying this movie is a comedy is like saying Schindler's List is a musical. It does not have a clear plot line and anyone smarter than a tree can predict the outcome of every situation that takes place. John Leguizamo has wrecked his career, after seeing what he did in this movie, the only thing I learned is that there is no possible situation in which I'll EVER see one of his movies again. During various parts of the film I felt an ungodly need to punch every character, perhaps Kristina Lilley's acting was the only part that didn't make me want to jump out of a moving car into the sea. As a closing note, I did not have an account in IMDb prior to this movie, and it was so disgusting I came out with the urge to warn others and rate it. Ps: I'd rather eat my own intestines before watching this film again.

I counted the minutes for the movie's ending. Dago García's commercial strategy seems to have worked once again with a goodish-for-TV movie. I was very curious about John Leguizamo's decision to do this film, knowing that he is of Colombian descent, but also knowing his not knowing who the producers were. He is in my opinion an outstanding actor who must have been tricked to do what will certainly be the lowest of the lowest point of his career. The movie's plot is poor. Colombian cinema has made some progress but this case is not an example of such. Please do not waste your money or time on what is a very, very, very bad movie. Blame it on the Mayans.
