The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.
... View MoreI think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
... View MoreGreat example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.
... View MoreThere are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.
... View MoreI didn't see a plot written here so I will explain it a bit. (might be little bit spoilers)Story is about a cat named Chibi-Neko who wishes to be human someday. When her owners move out, they left her stranded in the streets until a prep school student Tokio finds her. He takes her to home but there is a problem, his mother has cat allergy and she gets seizure if she touches a cat. Chibi meets another cat named Raphael. Raphael tells her about an imaginary place called ''The Cottonland'' and this place has a princess who looked exactly as Chibi (but her grown-up version). One day Raphael disappears and Chibi embarks on a journey to find him. She meets various other cats.In the end, it is really cute for a 34 years old movie. I like to watch this kind of old animation movies.
