In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.

This is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama

I never thought it could happen. Within a mere week, my established list of all time Top Ten worst films ever has been completely upended by two incredibly awful flicks that showed up on Turner Classics over the past seven days. No need to wonder, the other one was "Goke, Body Snatcher from Hell", and they now occupy the top two spots on my list, which you can check out here - http://www.imdb.com/list/ls000294129/ After reading some of the other comments on the picture, it's my understanding that there are a couple other Aztec Mummy flicks out there which I'll be wary of, as I don't want to inundate my bad movie list with a single concept.Quite honestly, I couldn't follow a lot of the dialog or narrative in the picture, but I think that might have been a blessing. If one needs a run down on what happened, go on over to the review on this board by 'evilskip' and you'll get the idea. For my part, I was consistently stunned by such nonsense as an Aztec breastplate with hieroglyphics, a maniacally weird character named Dr. Krupp, and some guy thrown into a pit full of rattlers, which by the way, didn't contain any rattlesnakes if you took a close look. But who would take a close look at anything going on in this picture?I know I can be a glutton for punishment when it comes to this movie watching hobby of mine, and every once in a while you come across one that really rattles the foundations. My summary line is an actual quote from one of the characters in the picture, so don't think it's me putting you on. If I can suffer through this, you can too.

Final of three films (all were shot at the same time and play as one long rambling story) concerning the evil Dr Krupp who wants the treasure of the Aztec pyramid. He makes a robot with a human brain to fight the mummy and to use an atomic ray to try and kill him. The mummy and the robot only battle in the last two or three minutes of the movie, and the robot only shows up in the last ten. As with the second film this movie has tons of material from the previous films which makes it an action packed little film, except if you've just seen the previous films, in which case this is a long haul. I have a soft spot for this film because its one of the first movies I ever bought on video tape. That doesn't make it any better than just okay, it just means I have a soft spot. Its an amusing bad film that ripe for picking on. In some ways its better than the first two films, if only it has all the high points from the previous films, but at the same time its probably not a film I can recommend to anyone with out explaining what they are getting into. Probably the one film of the series to see, its short, action packed, and rather silly.

*Spoiler/plot- 1957, Rather mad scientist movie about a scientist robot makers that gets his human heart powered robot to attack and steal an secret Aztec treasure protected by a dangerous Aztec mummy. The Mexican wrestler, The Saint, becomes a policeman to oversee the drama.*Special Stars- Ramon Gay, Rosa Arenas *Theme- Mummies are too dangerous.*Based on- Frankenstein and mummy myths.*Trivia/location/goofs- Mexican film featuring private investigator wrestlers, Aztec mummies and robots.*Emotion- The is solid fodder for the MST3000 TV show for the worst films. This film has a tremendous lead-up during the suspense of this epic. The overly dramatic corny scene music out does what's on the screen. The characters mostly over act with huge gestures ala a theatrical performance. The villain, The Bat, eats up the scenery and out shines all others in the scenes with him. The money spent on the human atomic robot of the villain is ordinary to see. The use of the robot after the build up is very slow and pedantic for in-terminal minutes of boredom. The end has the Aztec mummy to be the honorable hero warrior as he destroys the robot after the electronic control is broken with a gunshot from police. The female lead gives the mummy the stolen Aztec relics that she stole many long minutes ago. The mummy just leaves peaceably and the shows end is a real downer. Not drama, no fight scenes, no nothing worth watching. A campy film that makes the ring wrestlers of that time into heroic men that fight to restore the Aztec treasures and mummy.

Momia Azteca Contra el Robot Humano, La (1958) * (out of 4) I've seen the American dubbed version of this, known as The Robot vs. The Aztec Mummy but this was my first viewing of the Mexican version. In this third film, The Bat somehow survives and in order to steal the priceless jewels from the mummy, he creates a human robot. This film runs 64-minutes and twenty-five of those minutes is nothing more than scenes from the previous two films. The new footage here is all pretty lifeless and dull with the exception of the robot, which has to be the poorest looking one in film history. The big fight between the robot and the mummy is dull as well. As bad as this is things got much worse with The Wrestling Women vs. the Aztec Mummy.
