I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
... View MoreAdmirable film.
... View MoreThis is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.
... View MoreThe movie is wonderful and true, an act of love in all its contradictions and complexity
... View MoreThis is another winner that the Hallmark channel has produced. I never wanted to like Christmas movies, let alone Hallmark ones. But I have come around and these movies are really good. This is a man's Christmas movie. It has a man who enjoys being a single firefighter and a girl who works at a pet store and doesn't date until she finishes school. Both do not really believe in love or rather not looking for it. So what do you think happens? Well you may know what happens, but how it unfolds is the real key. It is a refreshing and not too clichéd story. It's a must watch and I highly recommend it. I will give this a 9.8 out of 10. Really good characters, very realistic dialogue, and characters. Well acted and the plot moves at a very nice pace. Did I mention interesting characters and great acting?
... View MoreIn this day and age it is nice to have an hour or so of escapism. The casting was spot on. Brandon and Kimberley's acting was believable.I've seen Kimberly in a few things. And she is a beautiful and talented actress able to display emotions convincingly, and professionally.and at times comical. So there might have been a few inconsistencies,it's only a film and it is what it is.The rest of the cast were very well chosen and played there individual roles brilliantly. The sub plots were in keeping with the film. The two cats were wonderful and very well trained a credit to their handlers.Hallmark make wonderful films, who cares if they don't make sense. An hour or so in there company temporarily makes you forget all the terrible things going on in the world at the moment.Keep up the good work.
... View MoreAm I the only one who thinks this guy cannot act? Sure he's a good looking fellow, but that's as far as it goes. Sounds like he's reading all his lines, loudly. My 5-year old nephew could do the scene where the guy climbs to the highest peak to profess his love much better than this pretty face. The girl, yes recognize her from other Christmas movies. At least she can act.Seems to me if we are to be bombarded with these movies for 40 days & 40 nights the actors could be a little more varied. Kind of hard to get lost in a movie & believe a girl is falling for a fireman with a cat when you just watched her playing the gay sister of someone whose bolted from the altar 3 times.I'd rather watch the Count customize cars.
... View MoreYes is is but a Christmas movie, and quite romantic at that. Unlike most of the re-dos of classic Xmas stories, this one has an original plot. I would have given it a 10 as a Christmas movie, but the casting failed us.Despite starting with a modelling session at the fire station by lead actor Brandon Routh (Superman Returns) he has a pleasant screen presence and captivates both man and woman right away. He is a modern super hero, fireman, animal lover and saviour of people anywhere, including a shopping centre parking lot. It is hard to hear such benign stories nowadays. All the support actors, especially the firemen were well cast and acted. However, the lead female part was so miscast with Kimberly Sustad. We could not help wishing she would transform during the story and stop looking like his older sister. What a shame, Christmas Eve would have been perfect without her.
