As the grandmaster who founded the Demonic Sect, Wei Wuxian roamed the world in his wanton ways, hated by millions for the chaos he created. Ultimately, he met his end at the hands of his dear adoptive brother, Jiang Cheng. Over a decade later, he finds himself incarnated into the body of a lunatic and runs into an enigmatic former classmate, Lan Wangji. The two men with opposing personalities embark on a mission to delve into the mysteries of spirits and ghosts, slowly uncovering dark truths pointing that the past wasn't as simple as it seemed, while Jiang Cheng suspects that Wei Wuxian has returned.

What a freaking movie. So many twists and turns. Absolutely intense from start to finish.

I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

If you're interested in the topic at hand, you should just watch it and judge yourself because the reviews have gone very biased by people that didn't even watch it and just hate (or love) the creator. I liked it, it was well written, narrated, and directed and it was about a topic that interests me.
