There is just so much movie here. For some it may be too much. But in the same secretly sarcastic way most telemarketers say the phrase, the title of this one is particularly apt.

Blending excellent reporting and strong storytelling, this is a disturbing film truly stranger than fiction

Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.

07/10/2018 What starts out as a run of the mill cowboy movie turns into a cowboy movie with a ridiculous plot for it's foundation. Most of the actors seemed professional and physically appeared as we might expect people from the late 19thC old west might appear, that is with the exception of bald headed, slow talking (Mr. I'm thinking ahead before I speak) Woody Harrelson. Deep thinking, lost in thought, is not what comes to mind when I think of Woo-D. He's ill cast for the part and his appearance and dialog kills the movie from my perspective, along with that asinine foundation for a movie I've glossed over. At best, a one time watch only movie. Watch for yourself and decide. Bon Appetit

Okay so I had to give it a 10 to address the balance here folks. It may not be the best movie ever committed to celluloid but it is worth a 7 just for the subject matter alone. Errrr endemic racism in the American South. Xenophobia towards Mexicans. Remind you of anything? Yes it does leave some looses ends ... but that only troubles those without an imagination! It does have some gruesome moments and the 'hero' can be a little annoying in his quest for the truth. But hey, as I have said, it is no High Plains Drifter! I'd give the acting a seven out of ten. It is atmospheric, the music works well. If you don't like Western's then you may not like it otherwise watch it. Its very entertaining.

Good cast, nice and interesting script but something's missing I don't know what exactly. Bad rating from the majority of the subscribers but I wasn't feel right the 2..4 or phrases like"waste of time" No it wasn't so bad ...but i agree that it's not a film for all.(I've read some reviews).A pleasant western film with quite fascinating plot.I'm not so much into the western films but I've enjoyed this one ...it wasn't captivating or something like that ,but not boring either.Everything was in place, every piece of the puzzle, the plot was there, the actors was there ,the action was there but something was missing. The whole movie was good though(6.7/10) even if I wanted, basically I needed a different ending .So,as a conclusion i want to say that the movie is worth seeing and enjoyable. Both Hemsworth and Harrelson were great and made the movie better .

It was a nice journey to the Western movie world since we are not seeing these days a well-played and impressive one. I will not repeat the plot, but I must add my opinion about some deficiencies in the story-line.Some parts were really slow and the ending will not make everybody happy. The acting was good, Liam Hemsworth was persuasive in his decent, melancholic orphan Texas Ranger character, Woody Harrelson as always for me, was making you hate him but respect for being such a cool, cruel and conscious villain.I liked the movie and recommend to watch but must add, this is not an unforgettable movie to keep in your archive in the rest of your life.
