It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.

what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.

Props for Arnie that he tried to do some drama, but come on! The story doesn't give any bigger message and the movie is not entertaining. If Arnold really wants to make movies where he doesn't kill his enemies from the first to final act, that is fine. But please, make sure that the story is complete. Here in beginning, I felt that this is going to give me something interesting. In hallway of the movie I was bored and then the whole movie just vanished. The movie feels like a school project where students learn making of drama. Even though it proves that Arnold can act some other role than Conan or Terminator. But then again, do we need a proof of that? We know that he is able to put his mind in anything and then just do it. This movie gave me nothing. I hope that making of this gave something for him.

Well, I never considered Arnold to be a bad actor. He was perfect in T2 and Total Recall, two really good movies. But starring in a drama doesn't automatically raise the artistic quality of the performance. The story is said to be inspired by true events and maybe this is how it all happened, but it's nonetheless surprisingly devoid of substance. And while Jacob does a pretty good job in conveying his anguish, it's difficult to feel anything at all from Arnold's performance.

I watched because it featured Arnold Schwarzenegger and I wasn't disappointed he was a likable character and someone you cared about and the film portrayed grief in a realistic an poignant. I was surprised by his encounter both times in the end. I think it's good because grief is a taboo subject and people try to avoid it if they can. This is a good and thoughtful movie. I liked it and in especially liked Arnold.
