The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.

It is encouraging that the film ends so strongly.Otherwise, it wouldn't have been a particularly memorable film

There's a more than satisfactory amount of boom-boom in the movie's trim running time.

I finished watching this movie and was surprised on how it could only get a 5/10, although the acting was lacking, the story was compelling especially being based on actual events.Reading through the reviews it seems that this truly is a tale of two view points. If you like a fact based movie, or can relate to a religious minded community, or even if you are not religious but can see how a religious community would take this event as faith building, you will love this movie. The other half of the reviews that give this a 1 are mainly summed up thus. You either hate religion in general and are offended that a religious community would give credence to their God for what they plainly see as a miracle, or you are of the other spectrum, you claim to be a religious person but are bigoted towards religions that are not yours. This was a faith based community that obviously sees this experience as a miracle from God, it does not attack other faiths, if this was a Muslim community it would be praise to Allah, not sure why you want to change the facts to make everyone happy.

I didn't expect anything from this movie and I turned out loving it. I see a lot of negative reviews and it seems to be based upon that it's a true story where people see miracles/angels and their faith is strengthened/validated. If that is offensive, or you think faith in God is absurd- seriously don't watch this movie. If you're not offended by that, enjoy. This is a really great movie about a near massacre that happened in 1986 and I have never heard of it. Just knowing something new in our history is interesting to me. The victims are my age and it's neat to see where they are now and to hear their testimony. If you believe the dozens of eye witness accounts of angels, it really is an incredible story. The acting was good and the story line never lulled. I highly recommend.

I found this movie to be a feel good great movie and yes the acting and effects were not the best I still found it engaging and tugged at the heart stringsThis movie was not made to win awards or make celebrities, this movie was created to let people know of the miracle that happened on that day 30 years ago and I believe it did just that for me.There are a few parts that could've been adjusted probably with a larger budget, but if i wanted CG graphics and special effects I would watch something elseThe fact that I had never even heard of this real life miraculous story until now makes me rate it even higher. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone interested, the world could use a little more movies like this.

This film is based on an actual event which was covered by national media as it was playing out. People do not need to be religious to see this film, but it is a very compelling story about a disgruntled high IQ guy assisted by his gullible, lower mentality,esteem-less girlfriend. The man has a long planned scheme to force ransom money from the nation, with fragile hostages in mind. The actors were believable and the film was made on location where the event occurred, and while the event happened maybe a decade ago, the event might have happened just yesterday. An absolute feel good movie.
