Its hard to stand watching this movie. Stupidity and ignorance leads to deaths of all but one of the mothers. In almost every scene the mothers do something ignorant and half witted. Written very poorly. I shut off the movie with about 15 minutes of it left. I couldn't stand the stupidity displayed. To think actual people would have brains the size of a walnut is not impressive. I could barely stand to keep watching the movie. I kept thinking this stupidity has to end soon. No one could ever be this stupid. Stumbling and falling into holes and running from wild dogs. Cutting themselves open to find out what color matches their baby. Why not take all the babies and do a dna test instead of killing other mothers to find out which baby is yours? Duh!

On the weekend, I will shuffle through On Demand looking for a good, well decent horror movie. While I don't think that "The Clinic" falls perfectly into that category, it does fall into the suspense genre, without a doubt. You have Beth and her boyfriend driving to her Mom's for Christmas, a big truck almost runs them over and then they decide to stay at a hotel for the night and head out in the morning. Add creepy hotel manager, mix in no gas in the car and you have the premise for a really good suspense movie. Beth is kidnapped while her boyfriend goes in search of Chinese food and then the mayhem commences. This movie was very good for what it is, the details to the story are all around if you are willing to pay attention. So it was a good choice for my random Friday horror selection. I wasn't satisfied completely with the ending so that is why it's 8 out of 10.

Not only is the movie full of plot holes, it leaves loose ends all over the place. And what the hell are herds of live cows doing in a factory that is supposed to be abandoned? The characters just seem to wander around aimlessly and get killed off one by one (wow, that is sure a new plot line..). They cannot seem to protect themselves in any way, even though an abundance of possible weapons are lying around all over. Overall, I get the feeling that a lot of the wrong parts were edited out of the movie. In short, this movie is only worth watching at 2 am when your only other choice is watching vacuum cleaner infomercials.

I really liked this movie.I knew I would when I read the plot summary. I don't know what it is with me and movies about women and babies or women defending their 'young'. That's why I liked 'Grace' as well. Anyway the movie starts out pretty casual but doesn't waste much time before it turns into a thriller. The acting in the movie is good, especially by the female characters. The main character is likable(she comes off as smart instead of stupid). I hate it when women are portrayed as weak, useless, low IQ idiots who get killed off in the first few minutes of a scary movie. This movie had a few twists, turns and revelations which I loved. It kept me interested throughout. There were 1 or 2 things which I think could have been executed better like the ending and the role of the husband but overall I liked it and it is definitely worth a watch, especially if you like horror movies about women protecting their children,i.e. Grace.
