Excellent, Without a doubt!!

This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.

The biggest problem with this movie is it’s a little better than you think it might be, which somehow makes it worse. As in, it takes itself a bit too seriously, which makes most of the movie feel kind of dull.

The only thing I want to point out is that writer/producer is German, so the comment about Americanization is out of line. The movie wasn't canon or great but I've seen worse interpretations of Tarzan. Other people were put off by the science fiction aspect, but there were examples of science fiction in some of ERBs stories. (After all, he did give us Barsoom.)

this movie definitely sucks and I rated 3 and this movie filled with a lot of nonsense,because (SPOILERS) Tarzans Parents flew literally above a Volcano and when the Helicopter got Struck by Lightning and fell Tarzan still Survived and not even a single Bruise and Cuts,well I mean there is but just a simple small cut on Tarzan's face though and no fractured bones or serious damage done to him. and when Clayton found Jane and Tarzan and tried to shoot Tarzan with a Sniper Rifle,he just keeps missing and Tarzan and Jane wasn't even moving a lot.and thats just some of the Nonsense things so it all depends on you to watch this movie or No,like if you're a bit Curious and want to know how Bad and to know the Story then yeah if you want to,and if don't care then not Worth it to Watch this an Hour and a Half Movie

This is the most god-awful movie which completely ignores all original story-lines, then adds historically inaccurate events from Earth's early years and finally has terrible animation. I watched the first minute of this movie and immediately knew it would be a crap fest. The idea that a meteor crashed in to Africa which wiped out the dinosaurs then remained intact to form a giant mountain covered by mist, (face palm), I can't give this enough of a poor rating. It is a horribly directed, ill conceived, poorly written and incorrectly executed movie. The only saving grace is that my kids were amused for 90 minutes but the side effect is that their minds have been tainted by a movie which should have never been released.

This is terrible! The dialog is stiff and broken. The character's reactions are not synchronize with their face and situation at all. This has to be the worst movie about Tarzan ever. Jane does not have any major impact or impression to the viewer. She appear just to be saved and did not do anything noticeable. And at the end, her "Don't leave me" line is very fake. The final battle is childish and ridiculous. It is very short, and utterly stupid. Note that the earlier plant monster should have joined the final battle. The scary mercenary behaved just like idiots. Seriously? Some small snakes and all of them lost their mind? Honestly. Tarzan himself has a constantly stiff and unchanging expression. While it did change in some scenes, the changes are minimal and hard to see. This movie's a big disappointment that only managed to make me want to re-watch the other, better Tarzan movie.
