Santa's heir (Steve Guttenberg) woos a widowed advertising executive (Crystal Bernard) who wants to use him in the biggest ad campaign of her career. Now the premise pf this film a cute idea. Fans of 1980's films might enjoy seeing Steve Guttenberg and thus his casting. Now the film moves fast. There is however something missing because the film feels incomplete. The film is "Family Safe". However the only people that might enjoy this is children under 12. Now if you happen to catch this film on Television watch it. It does have a few nice moments that saved this film from becoming a total bust!

This Christmas movie is darling! It was quite refreshing (although that is an odd word to use) to show a single Mom as a widow, not as a divorcée. It seems that so many movies glorify divorce and single motherhood.I also agree with those that says that the wig used for Crystal was terrible! It was terribly distracting! They would have been better off to just let her have short hair. I don't know of anyone that always has her hair in a ponytail! Please note that there is a sequel and it is equally as darling (Meet the Santa's)!!I just wish that there was a final movie to view... where they settle into the North Pole!

I truly loved this story, it was AWESOME to see Crystal Bernard again! It was so much better than a lot of recent "holiday" movies (Tim Allen's 'The Santa Claus' series not-withstanding It was thoughtful, happy, and actually contained both spirit and hope. All that being said, the only thing that bothered me, and yes, it is indeed trivial... what in hades happened to Steve Guttenberg's eyebrows? Looks like someone tried to thin them out or something, and obliterated them completely. It sorta freaked everyone in my family out. Anyways, kudos to Hallmark for making another fine, high quality family program, hope you keep them coming!

This is a movie that I would buy on DVD. It is the perfect Christmas movie. It did not have one single thing that was negative. Steve Guttenberg was perfect in his role as Nick. His characterization was so complete, down to his natural sounding Ho Ho Ho's! He demonstrated the kind of man that any woman would be so blessed to have. I have enjoyed him in films for years and he is as captivating as ever. Krystal Bernard was so cute. I have watched her for years, also, since It's a Living to Wings. She very aptly portrayed a New Milenium Career Woman and Mother. I have always enjoyed the dimension she brings to her characters and gee, she never seems to age! The boy who played Jake was great! He reminded me a bit of the boy who played in Sleepless in Seattle. He is very talented and gave a memorable performance. I know I will recognize him in future projects! I wish so much that they would repeat the airing of this film this year. I look forward to seeing it often in the years to come. This is a Christmas film that I won't ever get tired of seeing. I really loved it!
