To all those who have watched it: I hope you enjoyed it as much as I do.

The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.

It’s sentimental, ridiculously long and only occasionally funny

I watched this movie only because nothing else was on. It reminds me of a lot of the old 70's movies. I was a little surprised this was made in 2014. Bad effects like the early 70's Land of the Lost show or along the lines of the old Jason and the Argonauts movie or the old Hercules movies. There's some bad acting. Bad musical scores. Bad acting. Only interesting to watch just for shock value that anyone could produce anything so BAD. I don't know why IMDb requires 10 lines. Nothing much else to say. I didn't like it and turned it after 20 minutes. I am thinking I made a mistake writing this review since I can't quit now. Lol. I am a little curious if these actors, director and producer realized what a wreck this film is after it's completion while watching it.

If i could use three words to describe Sinbad fifth voyage, it would have to be: Retro, Fun, and Uniquely Indie....it's a total blast from the past. it moves right along, it's never boring, and the acting was good enough for me to sink my teeth into. This type of film uses the stop motion animation, although some people might find it crude and out dated by today's standards, but I am so sick of the over the top CGI in most movies that I found this very cool to see again. I thought the story was well plotted and well executed , and it's a timeless classic, so i guess it's no surprise it has just been remade.I thought the director shahin solimon did very well considering he was the lead as well. That can not be easy. i would say three thumbs up...great family fun. See it when you get a chance.

I was worried to say the least, after seeing all the bad reviews for the film. So I went into the cinema not expecting a lot if anything as most other reviews are 4's and 3's. Once the film started I was getting into learning about the characters etc. After about 30 minutes the film begins properly and after this point I was on the edge of my seat for the rest of the film. Coming to the end I found it a bit predictable not expecting to be surprised by a sudden plot twist. All though the film was really OK I felt it dragged in certain bits.Buying it on DVD definitely wouldn't be a waste of time.Overall this is a great movie for 16+ and would recommended to anyone.
