Lack of good storyline.

Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.

The acting is good, and the firecracker script has some excellent ideas.

The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

sure , this movie have some obvious disadvantages- some b or c list actors , plot holes , clichés and so on . but it also has it merits - nice cinematography , high production values, cool soundtrack , the use of unprofessional actors who gives it an almost neorealism flare , the locations , but most of all i enjoyed the non Hollywood feel , an almost anarchistic feel i might say , of going off the platform of your regular blockbaster .50 cent is no denzel washington but still he possesses some genuine quality that is hard to define .it really give you some kind of weird rush that no mainstream Hollywood film would give you .

A film that relies far more on the fame of its stars than the contents of the story itself, this low-budget action-thriller is an extremely basic crime/heist movie, attempting to highlight the "talents" of its star(s). In reality, Jackson is at best average as Sonny, with his monotone narration. His scenes with Willis highlight how far the rapper-turned-actor is from being a bona fide movie star, even if the Die Hard actor looks uninterested. Gunther also brings in odd direction, with sudden, jerky camera movements giving the feel of a television drama. There are plus points, such as the occasional humour in the script, but overall, awkward is probably a good adjective to describe this disjointed and strained film. Pity because the cast is excellent and the story might make sense, in spite of some plot holes.

(25%) A direct to DVD crime action flick staring a rapper who really can't carry a movie, Bruce Willis who's earning a pay cheque, and the guy with the cauliflower ears from the expendables movies. The plot is tried and tested, and has been done far too many times for something as utterly routine as this to make any sort of impact. To top it off, this actually knows that it's not only poorly crafted, but maybe even worse, indicates that it has such low opinions of its audience that key characters are actually labeled such as "The driver", "The mob boss", "The hit-man" etc so even simpletons can keep up, and the writers can go home early. But really if they wanted to make sure nobody gets left behind they should have made a better movie because towards the second half I couldn't really care anymore about anything. This isn't terrible, but even for a direct to video, is why too average to make any sort of mark.

Crimes, prisons, betrayals etc are nasty stuff, but in good movies, there is "something" that is catchy, that makes you compare and ponder - not just follow visual things like shootings, chases and punishments. Setup, unfortunately, is an "arid" and plain story with predictable events and dull ending. As for the cast, only Bruce Willis is at a premium, the rest are mediocre at best; Ryan Phillipe is too "cute" to be a tough criminal, 50 Cent can be a good rapper, but as actor, he is quite lousy. The scenes are not long or boring, but there is no smooth running or shifts, and some supporting characters provide no additional value (e.g. Vincent's father, Roth). You can watch it for killing time, but do expect any memorable experience. Pick a Guy Ritchie's or Luc Besson's movie instead.
