A Masterpiece!

It isn't all that great, actually. Really cheesy and very predicable of how certain scenes are gonna turn play out. However, I guess that's the charm of it all, because I would consider this one of my guilty pleasures.

This is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama

There is definitely an excellent idea hidden in the background of the film. Unfortunately, it's difficult to find it.

It doesn't get any better when a group of your musical peers--some that idolized you-- celebrate the music that defined an era and genre. Bob Mould is a poet, lyricist and soothsayer rolled into a package of goodness. The Husker Du years were special, so were Sugar and, of course, ditto for Bob being Bob. Hope you enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime performance beamed into your home theater. Crank it up. Don't be afraid to regenerate that inner soul of riveting guitar licks, "tour voice" and inner-passion that is embedded deep in your subconscious. Perhaps I'm partial but I guarantee some good listening is in store. This is as good as it gets! Bravo, Bob, Bravo!!
