Wonderful character development!

This is a tender, generous movie that likes its characters and presents them as real people, full of flaws and strengths.

Ok... Let's be honest. It cannot be the best movie but is quite enjoyable. The movie has the potential to develop a great plot for future movies

The joyful confection is coated in a sparkly gloss, bright enough to gleam from the darkest, most cynical corners.

A timeless tale that takes place against the backdrop of the segregated coffee fields in 1920s Hawaii - a coming-of-age journey about a young man who transcends the boundaries of race and class in pursuit of a forbidden love. Running for Grace has something important to say i'm sure of it and i totally understand that but it's unfortunately not as dramatic or as entertaining as it could have been since i found it quite boring to say the least plus both Matt Dillon and Jim Caviezel? In my opinion deserved better although their not bad. (3/10)

It can be surprising to see how a simple move and story can reach deep. Go and enjoy a movie with friends.

Wonderful story, beautifully filmed - viewers will easily relate to the characters! So refreshing!

Watching this film uplifts my spirit- it champions the good in the world while still pulling us through the brokenness of our human nature. It reminds me to continue to champion my foster sister, who also must find her place in two very different cultures.
