In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.

A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.

All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.

This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

I enjoyed while I was watching. The film is family film. It is good for everyone who is old and young. Ramona is a clever and naughty girl. She has very big imagination. Beezus who is Ramona's sister as clever as Ramona and she is hardworking. Ramona helps save her family's home and her adventures is so funny. I think she is a bit unlucky. I liked the events in the film but there is not so much stage about Ramona and Beezus and I did not like it. The actresses and actors is successful especially Selena Gomez (Beezus) and Joey King (Ramona) I think Selena Gomez is really good actress. I watched Joey King first time in this film and I liked her so much. She is younger than other actress and she is really talented.

I saw that movie because I read the books as a child and watched the television series (with Sarah Polly) as well, and loved both. I just wanted a little blast from the past and to just check it out. this series was adorable in some ways, but it could have been better. Celena Gomez is not a totally poor choice for an actress, but a bit older then Bezus even at her oldest in the books. Perhaps somebody like Abigail Bresin would be better. Also, they were kind of vague about the decade. The series was in the late 50s and 60s, but the movie did not modernize it nor did they make any reference to the decade. The cars and clothing looked modern, but the technology still seemed 1960s. Okay that could be left up to the reader I suppose, but I like to know what decade I am in. Additonally, they fit a bunch of parts from almost every book into one movie, so it was just like a bunch of scenes cluttered in one. The father mentioned the third daughter once, but she was born at the end of the book series, and she is not in any of the scenes, which I found confusing. When he was talking about how he was going to be an art teacher, but gave up school, he mentioned Bezus, romona and some other girls name I think. I understand changing the story a little, but cluttering everything onto one movie and changing things around just does not make sense, because the stories were so nice in the books and changing it changes the special quality of the books. All in all, not a terrible movie, the children were adorable and the acting was decent.

Elizabeth Allen directs this cute little movie about a precocious young grade schooler Ramona Quimby. Ramona a character in a popular children's series by Beverly Cleary. I really thought trailers pushed Selena Gomez as the star; but no...a cute Joey King plays the part of Ramona, who has one misadventure after another. Gomez is older sister Bezzus, who Ramona just can't seem to equal. Ramona's dad Robert(John Corbet)suffers being downsized out of a job. Mother Dorothy(Bridget Moynahan)goes to work and a worried Ramona takes it on herself to earn some money for her dad. A lemonade sale just ends up embarrassing her sister; washing the neighbor Hobart's(Josh Duhamel)jeep ends up practically ruining the vehicle's paint job. The Quimby home goes on the market and the open house ends up a fiasco. Hobart proposes to Romana's Aunt Bea(Ginnifer Goodwin)and the wedding doesn't exactly go unmarred...but Ramona manages to save the ceremony. It is real nice to watch a movie you can relate to. The Quimby family is not perfect, but a work in progress. Ramona is a typical young girl. And its refreshing to have Ms. Gomez play a role that girl's her age can emulate. I personally was most impressed with the delightful Goodwin, fresh as a summer breeze. No foul language and a story that can be enjoyed by all ages. And I liked the use of the song "Eternal Flame" by the Bangles. You shouldn't be disappointed with this one.

Ramona and Beezus is a two sister who is very familiar. their adventure to find their identity. Ramona is still the children always get into trouble when he was working on something. An older sister Beezus is a beautiful and smart and looking for true love. While the father and mother also have a conflict that usually occur in family life, namely the problem of earning a livelihood. This makes me interested. Like the really real life. Moreover, relationships with family and wrapped with romance. Everything looks complete in a movie. Very nice in watching by all ages. Except one thing is quite disturbing, that kissing scene (though without desire) seems less feasible in watching for children under age.The film stars a fairly professional players. Viewers will not be tired of seeing a fresh face. The storyline is not too flat and complex but very easy to understand. For this type of film, I give the value 8 of 10.
