If the ambition is to provide two hours of instantly forgettable, popcorn-munching escapism, it succeeds.

It isn't all that great, actually. Really cheesy and very predicable of how certain scenes are gonna turn play out. However, I guess that's the charm of it all, because I would consider this one of my guilty pleasures.

I really wanted to like this movie. I feel terribly cynical trashing it, and that's why I'm giving it a middling 5. Actually, I'm giving it a 5 because there were some superb performances.

I wanted to watch this film for Salena Gomez (Beezus), but When I first saw this film, I instantly took a liking to the character "Ramona" played by Joey king. She is this charming,innocent,affable "and many other positive adjectives" girl, who cares for people around her. She drives the movie with her adventures and others, sort of fit into it. This movie has elements of creativity,humor,romance,family matters and abundance of cuteness. I recommended this movie to my sister and we saw it together and she thanked me for making her watch it. Watching this movie will give you a, feel good vibe. I would recommend all to watch this movie with your loved ones and cherish that moment.

I enjoyed while I was watching. The film is family film. It is good for everyone who is old and young. Ramona is a clever and naughty girl. She has very big imagination. Beezus who is Ramona's sister as clever as Ramona and she is hardworking. Ramona helps save her family's home and her adventures is so funny. I think she is a bit unlucky. I liked the events in the film but there is not so much stage about Ramona and Beezus and I did not like it. The actresses and actors is successful especially Selena Gomez (Beezus) and Joey King (Ramona) I think Selena Gomez is really good actress. I watched Joey King first time in this film and I liked her so much. She is younger than other actress and she is really talented.

I normally don't post reviews on IMDb, but I feel I had to make an exception for this film. When I first watched this movie, I didn't think it would be that special, but it turned out to be one of my favorites! Joey King does an amazing job portraying Ramona, a well-intentioned girl who sometimes gets in to trouble (without really meaning to). I won't spoil anything about the movie, but it has some really touching moments in it, and there are a lot of cute scenes showing the bond between Ramona and her dad, as well as between Ramona and her sister Beezus. Although I don't usually cry at movies, this movie made me cry several times. I think this is a perfect family film that can be enjoyed by anyone, not just kids! I'm 22, and I loved it. Go see it, you won't be disappointed.

Although I am not really a fan of romantic comedies (most aren't really funny anyway to me) I do make an exception when there is kids in the leading roles. Kids have a wild imagination and that's why I thought this would be different from the mainstream romance and comedies. I wasn't wrong about that. Little Ramona wants to help out her family who are threatened to lose their house because her dad loses his job. This leads to funny but also sweet scenes where Ramona usually screws up although her intentions are often really good. I particularly liked the scenes where she took things literally and imagined those things in her head. Yes sometimes it is exaggerated and silly but I watched it for what it was, cute entertainment with a laugh and a tear. I didn't expect more or less of it and must say I really enjoyed it. I'm at loss why the movie title included Beezus (Ramona's sister) since I can't remember any scene where the movie focused solely on Beezus.
